Beats, Rhymes, & Fights : The History of A Tribe Called Quest Documentary

It's premiering during the Sundance Festival and it's also directed by Michael Rapaport too! I'm so ready for this...the drama behind Tip and Phife...WOW!

not too interested in the details of their beef, i just want to see the footage and see cats like DeLa & Large Professor. hope the beef doesn't predominate.

I just read that Qtip is not supporting the film and that the band disagreed with what Rappaport did with it.I bet that means he focused on drama.

I love ATCQ and would like to know their story but I don't want to watch some drama/beef. I've never had that image of them and want to keep my current positive perception of the group.

Anyway, I hope Phife is in good health these days.

Tip is not one to focus on negativity, but due to the lack of transparency, fans could never even imagine a squabble between these dudes or understand the break-up eleven years ago, thus creating a demand for this film.

I'm sure fans would see it no matter what what it documented... if it was some rehearsal This Is It schitt, Tribe fans would go see it.
