YES!!!! I ran and bought that extended mix..its ten minutes long!! Yes lawdt! He up here yelling to the heavens huntie. I like him, he seem self assured about he chooses to portray his image and music and I like the fact that he wants to broaden it up as opposed to limit himself, as people expect him to be doing.

I assume this is for an upcoming Sylvester biopic (???) If so, I'd be interested to hear Tonex talk about why he's involved in this project.

The gay thing isn't much of an issue, I think. Whether we agree with him or not, he's long since come out as... well... at least not hetero. And I think he's done a decent job at articulating how affirming his sexuality isn't sinful in his mind, but actually a faithful, even ministerial, response to how he truly believes God made him.

But that aside, the disco "lifestyle" was sooo tainted by mere pleasure for pleasure's sake... to the point of self destruction -- the very stuff I assume Tonex has wanted to demonstrate being gay isn't. I'd just like to hear how he believes this fits into his vocational work, because I think he still identifies as a minister of sorts.
