I love this song. The whole Teaser and the Firecat album is excellent, probably only second to Mona Bone Jakon. In my opinion Cat Stevens is the most soulful folk rock singer songwriter ever.

I Concur, i actually was just looking up a few on Itunes:D

And apparently he had a new one come out.. in like 07 or so and it was his first since the 70's

I don't have Cat's latest album Roadsinger from last year, but at least An Other Cup (2006) is most definately not about praising allah. It's about love, peace and unity very much in the same vein as his 70's output. To me Cat's least interesting music is his early overproduced output in the 60's. The only exception being the fantastic The First Cut Is The Deepest from 1967.

Here's my favourite Cat Stevens song at the moment, The Hurt from the album Foreigner

That album is absolutely flawless. I began with it too, a few years ago, and I must warn you that it might be impossible to stop there lol

eek Miles From Nowhere & & on the road to find out... are absolutely beautiful, haunting.. amazing i am speechless...

I haven't passed the track's after this so far.. i know the hit's as said.. but these 2 wow... i don't want to overhype them but i am incredibly moved smile
