I didn't like her solo album.It's a little too "New Jack Swing" for my tastes.It's a shame that Klymaxx fell apart after their 1986 album.If the original members had stayed together a little longer,they could have done some amazing things in the late 80s and beyond.

You know I just busted this album out yesterday after seeing this thread to give it another shot as I wasn't crazy about it. You're right about it beeing too new jack swing but there are some nice cuts on here like Guardian Angel,Go-Go Girl, and Let's do it. I think I might say I like her solo effort more than Bernadette Cooper's...

It was too New Jack although i dug Mr.DJ. Don't like She's Not My Lover that much.

The title cut Maximum Thrust was my favorite track on the cd. Let's Do It was alright

She's Not My Lover was the follow up single to Mr DJ. I remember the video from back

in the day. A young Dallas Austin wrote Mr DJ and She's Not My Lover with Joyce Irby.

Isn't that Jack the Rapper as the judge?
