Just because as an individual, we might not like something or someone, we feel others should not also. Why are we like that as humans? It's quite interesting to see and hear. I thought it was just in religion, but I was wrong. Hmm. The way we are is very interesting, indeed.

Everything is this world is and will always be taken under false subjectivist scrutiny, based on false freedom and the tyranny of the majority. In music, the so called subjective freedom of taste is what allegedly reigns supreme, however, when you reveal the initial skeleton of such a System, you'll see that its false subjectivity and is rooted in the propaganda machinery which feeds the public. So in essence you're exactly right. In this way pop music is exactly like religion and politics, mediums that are vastly manipulated by outside sources and cloaked in false subjectivity. They give you the illusion of choice, however they control the choices. Religion is the same way, whatever you choose to believe are simply a set of ideal silver plated maxims that where deemed by those in charge (aristocrats) as crucial. Since the proverbial Majority holds the keys, thus their satisfaction will always be met and the minority will be left in the dust. I.E. in this musical world people are groomed to like certain things. This is nothing new, it has been evident through time. Race, peer pressure etc... But even then, there was some freedom. However, now the powers that be control all the listening sources. And with that amount of control, you can manipulate the subjective intent of a populous. I am a Rail Road, Track Abandoned

So far i'm liking "California King Bed", "Cheers", "What's My Name" and "Man Down". I loved "Rated R", so I will probably end up getting this. "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ
"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always

Lady GaGa has had one studio album and one EP. Rihanna has like 554 albums and Beyonce has had 3. It's clear who wins.
Also, The Fame/The Fame + The Fame Monster has sold 13 million copies alone. The EP has sold another 1.5 million copies or so. [Edited 11/5/10 17:06pm]

I just downloaded the leak (morals?...eh, whatever) and I'm really not much of a Rihanna fan, but can't resist a decent catchy pop tune..."S & M" and "Man Down" definitely stand out. The rest, not so much. I think it's much better than Rated R overall though. Kinda strange, kinda awesome.
