Video: Shakira F/ Dizzee Rascal – "Loca"

"Loca" is the lead single from her album Sale El Sol (Oct. 19).

I always loved the confidence she exudes in her sexuality.. but her body is definitely more... different. Too skinny. I don't know if I like that... I really liked her curves. It made the dancing seem better :/

I do like the song though smile

I generally really like Shakira, so long as she's not singing. biggrin No, but seriously, love how she looks and moves. Her smile is intoxicating. But once she starts singing I'm like, *click*, change channel or station. I'm not even saying she can't sing - her voice just doesn't work for me. I actually watched this whole performance on David Letterman, though. She looks great here, and I actually enjoy the vocals MUCH more than that studio version. Dave is a total letch at the end. lol

She's a beautiful girl, and while I do think shes really talented, her stuff just comes across as desperate ever since Hips Dont Lie. I watch her now to see her beauty and dancing. I cringe at the material.

I think you summed it up there for me. I loved her work in the early 2000s and her Spanish music was amazing. Somehow the emphasis was off the music and more on the "celebrity" and image. She's still a great performer though, however, I really hope the material on her album is legit for her old Shakira status.

I agree with that. The song's OK but nothing special at all and I wish she would releasing latino or pop songs and go back to the more rockish sound she had at the beginning, I miss that Shakira
