Imagine the empire the original crew of Timbaland-associated artists would've done had Aaliyah not died... I think Aaliyah's death ended an era. And unfortunately Timbaland (and Missy) hasn't been the same since. | |

I think about it all the time! They had the music game on lock! Tim doing the beats and Missy and Static writing! You're right. Once Aaliyah passed, everyone lost their touch. Hate to say it, but she held them all together. | |

If I named my five favorite R&B albums of the '90s, Playa's album would be on it. Man, that album was on permanent rotation back when I was in college!
