GOOD.
Somebody's ass must've been having deep dark secrets that he/she didn't wanna disclose, otherwise this helium junkie wouldn't have a career to begin with.

I swear I didn't know why his voice was so squeaky the way it was. I kept asking myself "does he talk to friends like that?" [Edited 9/28/10 13:52pm]

He's the only and PRIMARY reason why I don't enjoy much of Timbaland's early albums.
He gets on my nerves to the point where I feel like drawing blood from my fist by a punching a hole in the wall.
Which is a shame, because to me Tim's finest hour was his early years as a producer,,,,everything is cool, until Tweety Bird walks in with his bullshit. [Edited 9/28/10 13:56pm]

True. I wish it was Tim and Missy instead of Tim and Magoo. Magoo was like a bad card in a good deck. Still I can recite his raps from the remix of "Luv 2 Luv Ya". Don't know why lol

I always liked Magoo. He was clearly the weakest link, but I thought he had a certain charm. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

On some songs it showed like "Luv 2 Luv Ya" for instance lol

Lmaoooooooooooooooooo "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ
"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always

I didn't think about like that.

Magoo... well all I can say is he's why I don't return to Welcome To Our World as often as Missy's debut or Aaliyah's sophomore classic, and never bought Under Construction Part II.
I have a friend in Virginia who knows Magoo and apparently he is really good peops. Oh well I don't really like his rapping that much.

I kinda saw he was a nice guy when I saw him and Tim being interviewed but other than that yeah pretty much.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I can see how he would be nice to work with on a project.
But does anyone listen to Under Construction Part II???

I still dig "Cop That Shit." "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Well yeah I liked that single. Were there any sleeper cuts on that album?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I haven't listened to it in a long time. There were some OK cuts, but nothing earth shattering. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I met Tim once at The Grammy's a few years ago & asked him why he said that about Prince..... [Edited 9/29/10 13:23pm] will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P.

Luv 2 Luv U has that JB's samp
| |
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Oh my God...I'm SO done with giving Timbaland credit. I thought he came up with that lick on his own. Does anyone know what he sampled for "We Need A Resolution"? I'm completely convinced he didn't come up with that flute riff on his own.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I don't think he would be foolish enough to hog up James Brown's credits, I'm sure the liner notes in there, he might rob the Arab singers of their work and call it his but his fat ass knew better than to fuck with JB's work.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Damn even the Timbaland songs have a James Brown connection lol
I think when I read the liner notes to the "Welcome to Our World" album, I did barely see James' and Fred Wesley's names in there. If not, I'm surprised James and Fred Wesley didn't sue.
But we know that "Up Jumps Da Boogie" sampled "Rapper's Delight" (least the title of the song) and "Boogie Nights" (we gon' show you how we party). So it don't surprise me one bit.
I don't mind. Still good music even if Timbaland was a noted robberer lmao [Edited 9/29/10 11:21am]

I could tell by the way the phrase is chopped that "Resolution" is a samp.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I'll give the "robberer" credit for listening to some obscure ass music.....
and who hasn't sampled from James?

Thanks. I knew it. Damn Timbo. He just lost ALL his cool points EVER with me. I thought he was coming up with this shit on his own. Damn.
