Drug-free pop stars A growing number of those in the recording industry have admitted taking drugs, but not all of them. What about Britain's 'Peter Pan of Pop', Sir Cliff Richard? http://www.dailymail.co.u...chard.html Abba were asked in 'Abba:The Movie' if their lifestyle included drug use, but replied that it didn't. I think Prince´s almost scandal free life despite being in showbiz for more than three decades is pretty remarkable. The few incidences I´ve heard of are not worth mentioning, including the blown out of proportion ecstacy trip before Lovesexy came out. ; I thought that this thread was about pop/rock stars who willingly bought drugs for recreational use (cocaine, weed, heroin, ecstasy,etc.), not for medicinal purposes...

Wasn't it rumored that, in that rare Youtube video with Prince and MJ sharing the stage with James Brown, that P had just done drugs backstage with JB's band--hence his loopy demeanor when he finally hit the stage? With MJ, he never did illegal drugs, but if you're talking prescrips...

This is impossible to answer. No one knows what these people are doing by themselves when they are alone and nor should anyone try to. While some of them may not be addicts there is no telling what shit they have tried in their lifetimes. | |

Have many Americans ever heard of the Nolan Sisters? They claim to have steered clear of drugs. http://www.express.co.uk/...an-sisters The comedy pop group Barron Knights released a track called "Barron's Fun 40", which was meant to be an amusing chart including the song "'Sex, drugs and rock and roll' by the Nolan Sisters" As regards a lot of pop people I don't know.
