APPRECIATION - High Inergy

Although they're considered a one-hit wonder, High Inergy was still a great group and "You Can't Turn Me Of" was a great song that stood the test of time.

I have all their albums, they were a great group but maybe a bit inconsistent. High Inergy is one of the artists criminally ignored by Universal/Motown as there is not a single CD available. Although they never made it big, they should at least release a Best Of which I'd be more than happy to compile wink .

Here's High Inergy's best known TV performance with Debarge at Motown 25.

From both her solo-albums after the group. Second track is a Cameo-project from around 1986. She appeared as guest on Cameo's "Single Life" album ,

doing a duet with Larry Blackmon. Her last album was around the 90's i believe, and appears to be gospel-related.
