He looked pudgy, drunk or high or something. Listening to that young dude talking about that crappy dance and saying it was cool. WTF?! no it wasn't Mike, it was fucking shit. Honestly, i can't blame him, but the more i see from that era, the more i can see he was out of it and off his tits most of the time. Nevermind anyone elses. "Liverpool is to London" fucking hell, he played both places. a sober Mike knows Liverpool aint in London. I find the 2000's very sad in hindsight.

I'm glad some folks think it was entertaining though.confused

He looked high to me during the NY concerts, but not in this one. I knew what he meant by that Liverpool thing, even though I also found funny what he said. It´s hard to tell whether it was just a slip of a tongue or he didn´t know that, but I don´t care personally.
Yeah, about him saying the dance was great, that was just Mike being nice to people.

I was just glad to see him as a man, who is not such a peter pan after all, acting just "normal". There´s nothing that bad that video that would make me feel sad about who he was. He treated people with respect, liked to joke around and I am glad he even joked about women proving once again that he was into women (not that I would ever have any doubts about that).

1. He was being nice lol You know he wasn't gonna out and say "What the hell is that?!" lol but you can tell he and Levon were making fun of him lol

2. He didn't mean Liverpool was in London. It's an industrial city, right? that's what he meant. Gary is an industrial city in the midwest of the US

Thanks. You know Mike would never diss somebody like that, especially doing a dance, expressing himself. He didn't even diss known people most of the time. Everybody was wonderful and great to him in public. lol.

Michael and his doggone impeccable manners. Even when he didn't want to be bothered (like with that guy who gave him the sunglasses, LOL), he's still so nice to people. I love that. mushy

You need to watch the tape again because you weren't able to connect certain points. Michael never thought the dance was "cool" He was being nice and when the guy said the dance was going to be next new thing or whatever, Michael made fun of it by telling his cousin to show him the "type-writer".... you could totally see the sarcasm in that. Also, he didnt' say liverpool is in London. He was comparing Gary to Liverpool. I didn't see anything off about this video at all. Considering the many interviews in the 80s and 90s where Michael seemed "unnatural" and even "off" - in hindsight, I can see that in those old interviews, he was pretending to be some mysterious person. Here, he wasn't. Replace Michael with any other person and the result is "just any other guy"

I don´t know, but I think it was just him cause he acted like that even when he wasn´t in the public. I remember I once read that after LMP started giving interviews talking about their marriage a fan came up to him asking to sign her Rolling Stone cover and he said that he wouldn´t ruin such a beautiful cover by signing that and signed the magazine on the back. That´s how he was pissed with her. lol He could diss people by paying them compliments. Or do you remember when Geraldo asked him about Eminem. He said he had always admired him, but he also said that "great artist don´t do things like that. They don´t have to" showing exactly how he actually felt about him, even though he may have sounded nice talking about him, actually.

It's disgusting that everyone feels that it's okay that the word fish is used to describe women and btw, I thought only gay men used that term. Anyway, I hope that isn't what Michael meant.

Actually, Courtney Love got some criticism for allowing Kurt to be a playable character in the last Guitar Hero game. So, that counts. Nirvana's songs are all over those "Guitar Hero" and "Rock Band" games and all that has to be signed off by his estate. It might not be a standalone Nirvana game, but when Kurt is a playable character it's close enough.

Hendrix's estate are notoriously difficult to deal with. Any potential deals there were probably squandered by the fact that the people running his affairs have no idea what they are doing.

Do you REALLY think this game will "destroy his credibility?". Actually - I think it will open up his music to a new generation even more.

As for what you said about "silly twats who didn't give a shit until June 09", listen, we all find it hard to deal with. Any and every one of us who has been a hardcore fan for years and years and defended Michael through the two allegation cases, the plastic surgery jokes, people attacking him and ignoring how incredible he was, and now everyone wants to act like they aren't jumping on a bandwagon when it's so fucking obvious that they are.

But, that's life. Or more specifically, that's death. Death elevates artists to a new plateau. Hendrix, Cobain, Tupac, Bob Marley, Biggie, Aaliyah, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin...... every single one of these artists shot up to legendary status after they died, some of them more deserving of it than others, and their estates kept their legacies alive and made a shitload of money doing so. It's one of the most tragic aspects of entertainment, that there is no PR better than dying. MJ's death has boosted his popularity with the general public more than the "Thriller" album with all it's singles, videos, Motown 25 performance, and 100million+ record sales combined. The estate has made over a billion dollars already since his death.

For as much as we find it hard to deal with as longterm fans who are still mourning and still angry, this is a fact and we have no choice but to accept that reality.

I mean, what's the alternative? That he died and only those of us who were already fans gave a shit and nobody else was enticed to realize how incredible he was? Because that's not exactly a great alternative, either.

For as much as you think people are cashing in, I truly believe that Michael would want it this way - especially when his children are the primary beneficiaries. Michael would want all of these websites, video games, etc. He would want this game to be the biggest game of the year with every kid asking for it for Christmas, which is probably what's going to happen.

And regardless of the last deals he signed off on, Michael had a million ideas in his head of things he wanted to do. Sadly so many of those will never be known.

But there's no point trying to guess what he would and would not want, because for all we know, he might have wanted a million video games about him to come out, a million more fan-made websites, a damn special edition MJ-branded Monopoly game with a Fedora, Glittery Socks, a Glove, and a Chimp as the pieces, a new cartoon series with him as a Superhero, a bunch of "This Is It " graphic novels, and who knows what else. We just don't know.

you feminists (if you are) need to give it a break. Just ruined everything about male/female relationships that was good along with all the bad. Anyway, Mike respected women but to lust is human and objectifying by it's nature. Mike is suppossed to be exempt? Well Michael had always said "there's some good fish". I've read it in people's stories of how he met women. So it doesn't inflict any connotation. That was just a part of who he was. He did say to us he was HUMAN after all, right? Michael never preached to the choir that he was a deity or anything like that. Women say that about men too. "There's a lot of fish in the sea and I'm gonna catch me one." So no the gay community are NOT the only ones.

^ I can understand why some people were offended by Michael's use of the term. My initial reaction when he described the girl's "titties" was also the same. But remember, Michael had nicknames for everything, whether people, actions or objects. I think in LaToya's book, he once even used the term "cakes" for women. We all know he's always playing it safe with his image by using ambiguous terms. Making a statement like "there's some nice looking girl over there" is probably too obvious. Also, we all know that Michael is a gentleman and is respectful of women, men and children.

Also, when someone undergoes a break-up, don't people always say "there's more fish in the sea" Shouldn't we be offended by that? We can't take things too seriously sometimes.
