It's not about who played what etc, you're right (but, it's a huge factor to determine talent), but Mikes tracks don't hit deep with many, like me, because he was a pop artist at heart. His musical compositions are not that great (nor at times his own entirely) when compared to others because that was not him and that bars him from competing with people who can do more than him...These are the others who give ME that feeling you describe. There isn't much musicianship nor room to be challenged. Lyrics were so-so too....These are my judgements based on what i know of today.

It says it all when i say i was in all your places and then discovered the real deals later in my life. I got deeper. I'm not putting a downer on MJ here, merely trying to explain why some don't see it your way....or at least anymore.

I know we talked about this cat a few months back, but I had to post this.

There are certain moments where if you close your eyes, you might think

it was MJ. Granted, dude might be trying really hard - but for the fans who

miss "the voice" - this guy sounds pretty close with a dose of T-Pain thrown in.

Infact ever wonder what that MJ/T-Pain callob might have sounded like.

Damn I must really miss MJ to be posting this.
