Lady Gaga: New ALBUM Will Change The World

Lady GaGa sat down to RWD magazine to talk about her new album, ‘Born This Way’, recently. The singer/songwriter revealed that record entails some of the best material that she has ever put forward and that her ideas even impressed fellow superstar Beyonce. Check out what GaGa said below:

“The album is my absolute greatest work I’ve ever done and I’m so excited about it,” she told RWD Magazine.

“The message, the melodies, the direction, the meaning, what it will mean to my fans and what it will mean in my own life – it’s utter liberation.

“I knew I had an ability to change the world when I started to receive letters from fans: ‘You saved my life…’ ‘I’m gay and my parents threw me out…’

“My fans have related to me as a human being and as a non-human being – as a super-human person that I truly am.”

The ‘Alejandro‘ star also said that she is not arrogant, insisting that music is the only thing she feels confident about.

She continued: “Everyone tells me I’m arrogant but my music’s the only
thing I’ve got, so you’ll have to let me be confident about one thing. I suppose that’s what you can expect from the album: a lot of hit records that will piss people off.

“Beyoncé said: ‘Where the f**k do you get these ideas from?’ And I was like: ‘I don’t know Bee, it was just the way I was born’.”

It might flop. Always possible. However, Lady Gaga is probaby the biggest female singer nowadays, so it's more likely it will do well. Unless, of course, the material is so offensive no one buys it. Then again, people nowadays buy just about anything, offensive or not:) Especially if it's the "in thing" or popular on the charts. Truth be told, though, no one can really predict a hit or not. It either happens or it doesn't. She's proud of her work. I get that. I'm sure Christina was proud of her latest release also. For some artists, success is more than chart success. We'll see if Gaga is one of those artists if it doesn't do well.

Someone believes there hype a little too much, I sense a falling star soon.

And that star will be a freakily dressed one.

I know its somewhat evil, but I enjoy when an overzealous artist falls, its always somewhat amusing... And something tells me this one will be hilarious.

A lot of lyrics in songs today are offensive. Whether the lyrics are suggestive or just in yo' face without beating behind the bush. Rihanna's Rude Boy is one example, IMHO. Or, maybe I just take that song the wrong way:lol: Any curse word is offensive to some people. Especially when the word could be replaced with a non-curse word. It has been that way for a while now, but it's more so in your face and in your ear nowadays. My point: People buy songs with curse words, degrading lyrics, overly sexual suggestions, etc. These things in songs are offensive to some, yet people buy them. That's the world I live in. What world do you live in? LOL. Love Prince's Erotic City, but just the instrumental.

I'm interested in her next album, but I find it shocking she says she's "not arrogant" yet calls herself "super-human" and able "to change the world" lol

hello? She's like Kanye West without the mean streak. giggle

Oh I wasn't talking about the offensive part, I mean the buy part...

People don't randomly buy music anymore lol

And itunes doesn't count, because the actual artist doesn't see a dime, literally, average royalty rate is about 2 cents per song, which is shameful...

She can say all of that and more if she wants. She's a star ($uper$tar) who has stuck her neck out for my community where a lot of other folk wont. So to me, if she wants to give an interview that sounds arrogant, or just plain like she's from some koo-koo dimension...fuck it...do it and I will applaud you for it. She at least puts her money/star power where her mouth is.

In all honestly.....I hate GaGa.

Everytime I hear or see her, I just think of Suit behind her telling her what to wear, sing, and converse. She is a marketing tool, and the people buyying into this shit are Hook, lin, and sinker.

Her video's are made for social media marketing...SHE EVEN HAS PRODUCT PLACEMENT IN HER VIDEO'S........Effectively your being told what to buy

Not sure what "community" you're talking about.

But even so, I believe faithfully "When you give to someone in need, don't do as the hypocrites do--blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get.
Let not your left hand know what your right hand is doing, Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you"
I'm not at all religious, nor do I believe in a "father,"

But the "good" book got it right when it comes to charity. And what the Lady seems to be doing is blowing trumpets in the streets, which trumps the actual charity.

She needs to check herself

seriously

Yep and her recent antics in politics are only to make sure certain people will keep on buying her stuff.

The super-human quote is ridiculous and is practically bashing her "human fans", I can't believe some applaud her for such BS.

look, she's a talented artist but she's getting really annoying lol She's so contrived I can't stand it. Showing up at airports in underwear is all for attention, not to make some important statement about freedom of expression lol She's taking herself way too seriously in her interviews and public appearances and it's just too much. Kind of like Madonna about 20 years ago confused I like the artists who don't talk about how great they are and just show it through their music.
