I love my CD copy of June Pointer's Baby Sister. The liner notes are incredible. There is a new (sad) photo of Ruth Pointer clutching a copy of June's album to her chest. I miss June's energy.

I have the CD as well which is waaaaaaaay better than her second solo cd which is full of unmemorable songs and boring 80's synths and drums. "Ready For Some Action" is a fantastic track, love those magic Norman Whitfield touches on the track. June has always been my favourite Pointer Sister, I loved her voice and her bubbly personality. She also did great vocals on Bruce Willis' "Respect Yourself" and can be seen in the video.

I like both of June's solo CD's. I thought her second album, 1989's JUNE POINTER, was really good.

I had never even knew this record existed until after she passed. I just listened to the CD a couple of days ago and it is very good. I, too, prefer it over her second CD.

Miss her dearly. Oh, and I loved the gap between her teeth because it added even more sex appeal.
