Is Robin Thicke really all that talented?

Some of his stuff I like, but for the most part, I don't get his appeal

I think he's gotten very commercial.

I really liked "When I Get You Alone" when he was riding on the bike and whatnot...

He's hot though and likes Black women so thumbs up!

Don't think so personally, but I wonder how talented his wife is?

Did Prince ever deny he had sex with his sister? I believe not. So there U have it..

You wouldn't invest in a ticket, or did you attend a less-than- memorable Robin Thicke concert or live performance?

I've seen this guy 3 times. Each time was a strike.

I enjoy his music but yes....he needs some work in his live performances. Well shit, he's better than Ruben Studdard.

The material that he wrote with MJ, was classic! "Lost without you", is one of the greatest songs ever written.

I think he has some talent. I also think he's not quite honed it yet either. He's had some catchy tunes. I heard about him ages ago as just Thicke when I got a free DVD of 10 new songs and one of them was "When I Get You Alone". LOVE that song. I bought "Magic" on iTunes when it was out, and have a couple of other random tunes by him.

So far, it's just random good things from him. I don't think he's reached a higher point in his music. Not yet, but I do believe he has it in him to be huge.

I did not understand his appeal at all when he came out, but I LOVE lost without you and Fall Again. That is all. I saw him perform live when he opened for Beyonce's years ago and I can tell he was mj and stevie and prince inspired, but kinda generic at the same time.

His material is weak and his voice is crap live.

But his wife can play my purple oboe any day.

I only like the song "Magic" and maybe one or two other of his uptempo songs from that album.

When he came down here, it was a two hour show. About 15 or 20 minutes of Robin Thicke at the end and the rest of the show was a bunch of bullshit local acts. People were furious.

What material did he with with MJ? "Fall again", from what I can remember, was written with Wally Affansief?

Anyway he came up the old school way of co-writing for others (his name goes way back to the mid 90's). So he obviously has some talent, and I like some of the songs he was involved in for Jordan knights debut, but he just reminds me too much of a less interesting Justin Timberlake. Seems very safe and ordinary to me.

He is talented, but maybe he should stay behind the scenes.

Moderately talented, nice guy...and he makes some music that I like. I don't mind supporting his stuff and long as he stays in line with what is appealing to me. I guess I don't really feel strongly about him one way or the other.
