The first one that comes to mind is the Archandoid by Janelle Monae. I want to like her so bad but I just can't get into her music. I'll think of more....

when i was in middle school. this band called linkin park was terribly popular. their debut album was played even in our rallies. i then decided to burn a copy from a friend and see what the big deal was...i was bored to tears, i coudn't process the turntables and adolescent screams. i mean it perfect for everyone else. i just coudn't get into it.

yeahthat

Mind you, I've given it a thorough listen, twice. I just don't hear what everybody's hearing shrug

Never liked Sgt. Pepper's at first or 4th listen,,,,,in fact, it took me couple of years to really appreciate the album, and the fact that it was a revolutionary statement, as far as recording technology was concerned made me like it more.

B.O.B.'s new album. Which isn't bad. But like the title says "overhyped".

Eminem's 2 latest albums.

That's all I can think of.

Lady Gaga's releases come to mind. However, to be truthful, I don't get much into anyone's hyped album releases much. I'm more of a buy one song at a time music consumer. It's really rare that I buy every song on an album nowadays unless it's Donna, of course:-D

THIS. THIS. THIS. THIS. THIS. THIS.

I can not even tell you how many times I tried to listen to that album, but it bores me to tears. I think it's her voice though. Maybe if someone else was singing it I wouldn't have such an issue.
