How is Little Wayne on all these New Records, when he supposed to be in Jail? If this has already been asked, then u can link me to the thread.
Is he out already?
Just wondering seem like months ago, it was in the news he was going to jail. Next thing u know u still here on new records. Unless they were recorded before he went, which sure would have been a lot of recording. Or is the Judge, Jailers getting paid for him to be let out and go record and come back to jail, very unlikely? Or they got a recording studio at the jail? |

Recorded before his sentence. I actually remember an article/interview where he listed a bunch of the people he worked with. It's very likely there will be more released before he's out of jail.
Also, Tupac has released more albums from the grave than he did while walking the Earth. I'm sure Lil' Weener has got three tons of verses just sitting around on tapes waiting to be used. |

actually his new cd The Carter IV will be released the day he get's out of prison in November
Lil Wayne To Release 'The Carter IV' On Day Of Jail Release
Lil Wayne will give fans another reason to celebrate when he leaves prison on November 5 - he's planning to release the follow-up to his hit album "Tha Carter III" on the same day. The hitmaker, real name Dwayne Carter, Jr., has been serving time at New York's tough Rikers Island prison since March, after pleading guilty to charges of gun possession. He's expected to walk free from jail on November 5 after serving just eight months of his year-long sentence, providing he continues to abide by jail rules and regulations. But he's refused to let his legal problems silence his music. Young Money Crew president, record label boss Mack Maine, has confirmed Wayne has been working hard behind bars, on the song selection for "Tha Carter IV." Maine tells MTV News, "Tha Carter IV plans we had and still have are to put Tha Carter IV out the day he comes out (of prison). He had so many songs for Tha Carter IV, we said let's just put these 10 songs out (on I Am Not a Human Being) and double-back for Tha Carter IV. He has more songs for Tha Carter IV that are still strong." Wayne previously vowed to release "Tha Carter IV" in late 2009, following the success of 2008's "Tha Carter III," which sold more than one million copies in the U.S. in its first week of release. But the album isn't the only release label bosses have planned - Wayne's new EP "I Am Not a Human Being" will be available for digital download when the rapper turns 28 on September 27.

I'm sure it'll all do very well, but let's not forget he kind of fucked himself over a little bit by putting out that so-called "rock" album to universally negative response right before he went in.
Will everyone forget that? Or will a lot of people be kind of over him for it?
I'm hoping for the latter, but I'm sure I won't get my way. "does my cock look fat in these jeans?" |

It may do decent sales wise in its opening week but he won't ever get the sales he got for "The Carter III". Plus that rock album experiment did hurt a bit of his popularity. [Edited 9/7/10 15:01pm] |
