this is a great album. the video for the track is great, and features an OJ style car chase. i got the video on a promo, and i have a promo cd with remixes of the track too

I agree...it's his best jam................but worth saying, Paris ALWAYS brings it.......there's always 1 or 2 pretty damned solid (and always edgy) tracks on every album. As far as West Coast hip-hop, I think his catalog is well worth investigation by the uninitiated.

A great rap/funk provocatuer, IMO.

A great rap/funk provocatuer, IMO.

It was hard for any rapper to have a sharper political and social edge than the East Coast giants of the time, PE and BDP, but Paris managed to do it in the early to mid-90's. I liked the production on The Devil Made Me Do It and Sleeping With The Enemy more than his later sets, but he's never compromised. He's still in the game, too, IIRC.
