Forgotten Jam: "In The Dark" by Roy Ayers This jam came out right at the beginning of my senior year and other than me playing my 45, I haven't heard it since.
Anybody hip to this one? Andy is a four letter word.

Top song!! Still well played to this day. The title track from his 1984 CBS album. Not the best album he's done but the title track and one of my all time faves ''Poo Poo La La'' make it a well worthy listen. The album was released on cd in 1998 as a 2on1 set along with his '85 album ''You Might Be Surprised''. It's well worth hunting down as the second album contains 3 fantastic songs with the mighty Mtume. [Edited 9/9/10 14:03pm] [Edited 9/9/10 14:05pm]

Not one of his best albums but well worth it just for the title cut & the amazing "poo poo la la" I would love to have heard Miki Howard on more of Roys compositions. Life has a way of making you live it. . . .

Thats the only song I enjoyed from the album. It showcased Roy Ayers' sense of humor.
