One of the downsides of Michael's success, is that I feel he was trapped inside the hits formula when it came to live performance. When you look at the evolution of sets from Triumph through to This Is It, there are set formula's he stuck to.

I guess when it ain't broke don't fix it, but as a fan across several tours, there were a few moments of delight when an unexpected "non-single" song was played - eg D.S. or Come Together in the HiStory shows.

and it's even more alarming that he had hits with other songs like remember the time but chose 2 not perform songs like this in concert. the whole concept of being trapped in a set of just hits and not hardcore fan style ..hmmmm sounds like someone else currently:)

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Saying Blanket is the clone of Michael Jackson is like saying Lisa Marie Presley is the clone of Elvis Presley. That just made me laugh out loud for some reason.

So you think that Lisa doesn´t resemble Elvis? I think she does. Sometimes, she is just a spitting image of her dad.

When I see Lisa Marie Presley, I immediately think of Elvis in drag. That's what she looks like to me.

Because Klein did not kill Michael and had no involvement whatsoever in his death.

Klein's name isn't mentioned and rightfully so. The investigation should focus on Michael's death and waht led to it. So, why put Klein in the equation?

Unless you actually believe Michael died due to taking too many prescription drugs from too many doctors. That way, Klein can be mentioned. Still, every piece of evidence contradicts this. In fact, investigators, responsible for this case, have refused such theory.

Mr. Knowitall.... Maybe he didn't have anything to do with the death of Michael but he was giving Michael intramuscular injections like they were candy.. Reported to be Demerol.

So what?

What relevancy does that have in the case?

Wasn't it "reported" that Murray called for Prince to be brought into the room as he performed CPR on Michael?

No, Swa. Latoya, Randy and Joe claimed Prince had been called upstairs to "watch his father die". The Chef, who was in the house, claimed that Prince was NOT called to see anything and that he stayed downstairs. In who do you believe more?

Let's start making sense, Swa: it's clear this whole "Prince watched his father dying" is nothing more than an excuse to ask for money due to "emotional distress" supposedly caused to Michael's oldest son. The family, as most people predicted, is using the kids to have an argument against AEG. As was confirmed by the chef, Prince did NOT see anything. Yet, the family has tried to convey the image that the child saw his father dying. And, now, we know why!

Second thing: AEG did not hire Conrad Murray. So why would they provid equipment to someone with whom they had no connection? The family is just desperate to sue AEG and get a payday.

Murray must be laughing his ass off. The family have been his biggest supporters.

mj's doctors were all investigated and none of them have been charged with overprescribing drugs for mj.

klein is clearly unstable or something, but the facts on the table are that mj's autopsy did not show evidence of a plethora of drugs prescribed by anyone other than murray. murray keeps pointing the finger at these other doctors, but there is no evidence that what these other doctors gave him, if anything, were the cause of his death. if i am prescribed cortizone by one doctor, but i go to another doctor to further treat my ailment and he injects me with an overdose of a drug that kills me, how does anyone point the finger at the first doctor?

as posters on another board have pointed out, katherine jackson has made contradictory statements now which will come back to haunt her if she ever takes the stand. she is on tape saying that she never saw her son under the influence of drugs and she never believed any allegations about him being an addict.

re: prince, i've said it before and i'll say it again, i feel so sorry for these kids. i hope for prince's sake that he did witness his father's death. why? b/c if he didn't, this "family" is putting him in an awful, awful, awful position. he'll be called upon to lie under oath. how ironic, given the problem his father had with young chandler and arviso.

Exactly.

Yes, Katherine made contradictory claims...but we all know who is really behind this. The Jacksons have contradicted themselves more times than Janet Arvizo ever could. It's clear they are throwing crap at all costs and expenses to see if something sticks.

Just one more thing: the Chef has already confirmed that Prince did NOT watch his father dying. The family is using him just like they did with Paris by putting words in her mouth.

How much does she want for emotional distress? Or is it all about justice, finally? lol

And: who is going to pay legal fees?

if it's true that Michael Jr. saw his father dead, that could be a clue....

I am sure that the boy was emotionally distressed in any case - whether he saw his father dead or otherwise. All MJ's kids were.

But is Mrs. Jackson sure that making him a part of this lawsuit (and eventually dragging him in the witness stand) will help him to overcome his distress? A profound therapeutic effect of the cross-examination?

And a fat check from AEG will make it for all? (Does he need money???)

Now, I am sorry guys, I know that the most of you have deeeeep respect for Madam Jackson, but this woman shouldn't be MJ's kids' guardian.

Just shouldn't.

A Conversation With David Nordahl: A Look At Michael As Artist, Subject, Intellectual, Daddy, Friend-And Survivor

Raven, 9/11/2010

The above may seem like a long subtitle. But what I learned from my time with David Nordahl is that his 20-year friendship with Michael Jackson encompassed all of the above.

He was in a unique position to get to know Michael on several levels, as a subject of his own paintings, as an artist in his own right (though David explained why he did not believe Michael could have ever really made a go of it as an artist), and as a business partner and creative co-designer (including many of the rides at Neverland and future plans for Neverland).

But he also got to spend a lot of quality personal time with Michael and his children. He was there during Michael's first marriage to Lisa Marie, and witnessed the nature of their relationship first-hand. After twenty years, he probably knew Michael as well as anyone.

Check it out.

It's too early, yet lol

Not enough time passed.

There are still too many apocrypha out in circulations - among the mean folks. There are even some who still believe that MJ was a child molester.

But don't you give up. Remain firm. Shut down every discussion that doesn't fit in the canon. Mob every user – even fans - who allows himself even slightest blasphemy (like you did it with Reel and a couple of others).

Katherine: MJ Feared People 'Wanted Him Dead'

9/17/2010 12:25 AM PDT by TMZ Staff

[img:$uid]http://ll-media.tmz.com/2010/09/16/091510-katherine-jackson-video-credit-1.jpg[/img:$uid]

Katherine Jackson says her son, Michael Jackson, told her "several times" that he felt like people "wanted him dead" ... and she believes his paranoia was a product of the molestation allegations. In an interview for Michael Jackson Secret Vault, Katherine said, "One of the reasons I think that [Michael] knew people didn't want him around any longer" was due to the "vicious rumors about him molesting children." Katherine goes on to say that "mean, evil, vicious people didn't want him around for some reason" ... then adamantly states she believes those people were "greedy."

Anyone going to preorder MJ's new album? It's so weird...I was thinking..."Oh man. I can't wait to buy it." But then I thought to myself, oh man when was the last time I went to the store to buy a new release? Will there be a huge line to get it? Many of the places where you would go buy music are closed down now save for huge chain bookstores, Walmart, Target, K-mart, Best Buy, and etc. In the end, unless it sells like Thriller, they're going to still call it a flop and that everyone forgot about him.

I bet you that, even in death, he will never be able to escape that album. Never. It's both a blessing and curse.

Finally sold out, hunh? And how many copies did they sell that were cheaper editions of the original "limited" series? I wonder if mine is actually worth that much. As much as I love the pictures the book is so huge I have no place to put it except the box it came in.

And what about the MJ interactive library?! They sent code numbers to people instead of cards; since then I haven't heard a word from Krakenopus! Did that go the way of the Prince' opus? confused
