that's great, anyone ever wonder where on earth the jackson's got that distinct accent from? I am glad to see that Michael Peters and Michael met one time before he passed. and that black folk always had his back and knew the legacy of prominent black men, better than Michael even.

I always heard it was a accent from Indiana, but I have no proof of that because Ive never heard any of his family members sound like that.

It kinda reminds me(no offense,Michael) of Sarah Palin's accent, except this one isnt annoying!

The way Mike gets shy when Barry says "look at me" at 6:07 made me cry the first time I saw it. He was just that cute, I couldn´t take it.

I loved how Tommy Davidson could get the MJ dangerous era hair back

then better than some impersonators can, to this day.

And here is a recent interview with Tommy. He actually went to Neverland

and met MJ. Pretty surprising given the nature of the MJ skits on In Living

Color (see above), so either MJ had a good sense of humor about himself

or he didn't watch In Living Color. razz Either way, still cool of Tommy to share

this.

Great selects NMuzakNSoul.

Interesting that you chose to limit yourself to 9 tracks. I always wonder if you feel that that is the perfect selection, or that the songs post track 9 weren't worthy enough. I know I stopped at 15 as I felt Threatened whilst an ok track wasn't worthy of being there just by default.

NMuzakNSoul said:

my picks swa:

1. don't stop till you get enough

2. the way you make me feel

3. stranger in moscow

4. liberian girl

5. remember the time

6. billie jean

7. man in the mirror

8. i can't help it

9. dirty diana

might feel different tomorrow

Ok so let's talk music - with the utlimate MJ elimination collection.

Here are the rules.

Create a playlist up to 16 tracks to feature songs from MJ's solo albums OTW through to Invincible but here is the catch - it's a knock out for each position. This means only q track one can make it, only one track 2, and so on.

For example - in your playlist which track one do you choose, Don't Stop, Wanna Be Startin Somethin', Bad, Jam, Blood on the Dancefloor, Scream or Unbreakable. Only one can go through. And once you've picked it the rest of the songs can't appear. Some are easy picks, others are difficult.

It's a deliciously painful selection. You can choose to stop at 9 tracks or go through to 16.

Here is how mine ended up.

The Swa Selects

1. Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'

2. They Don't Care about Us

3. Workin' Day and Night

4. Break of Dawn

5. Remember the Time

6. Billie Jean

7. Money

8. Black or White

9. Who is it

10. Smooth Criminal

11. Will you be there

12. 2 Bad

13. HiStory

14. Dangerous

15. Whatever Happens

I choose to stop there than include Threatened - it just didn't make the cut.

So what are your elimination selects?

Post em.

I love these pics! I honestly love how he toned down the makeup. Honestly, he looks really attractive here... He sure wasn't looking like this from 2000-2003

He only wore stage makeup when he was on STAGE. Thus he would not be wearing it in pics like this. And here he is in 2002 looking just like this because again he wasn't ON STAGE. http://www.youtube.com/wa...lTFXtP9mws

Good point. And yes, I remember that video. But I was referring to the makeup he wore when he made appearances - court appearances, TV appearances, award shows, events, nterviews, heck... even showing up at P. Diddy's party. The makeup was always overboard. Less was so much more on him. He should've stuck by it.

Michael Jackson was a cultural icon. Known as the King of Pop, the life of this complex man remains a puzzle, even after his untimely death in 2009. In spite of wealth and fame, he was accused of serious misconduct. Jackson settled a civil law suit accusing him of molestation in the early 1990s and in 2005, a jury in Santa Barbara County acquitted him of molesting a thirteen year old boy at Jackson's Neverland Ranch. Both cases add to the legal lore.
Attorney Seth Hufstedler will moderate a panel discussion offering an in-depth historical and legal analysis of these highly publicized and very unique California celebrity cases. The panel includes those most closely involved with these cases: the judge, Honorable Rodney Melville (Retired); the prosecutor, Deputy District Attorney Ronald Zonen; defense attorney Thomas A. Mesereau, Jr. who represented Jackson in the Santa Barbara County criminal trial; attorney Larry Feldman who represented the alleged victim in the civil case; and attorney Carl E. Douglas who represented Jackson in the criminal investigation of the civil case.
THIS PROGRAM IS OPEN TO ATTORNEYS AND JUDGES ONLY. A STATE BAR NUMBER MUST BE PROVIDED AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION.
