Dennis Edwards- Don't Look Any Further "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

One of my father's all-time favorite songs. Chaka Khan was supposed to sing with Dennis but didn't due to contractual issues. I wonder how Motown nabbed Siedah to do it lol

good thing Chaka didn't, because the video is HILARIOUS "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

Those facial expression are everywhere including my nerve system.
Somebody said he was high as a Georgia pine during the shoot of this video, I couldn't tell.

I think Chaka would've protested the video anyway.

According to some reports Dennis was on crack cocaine at the time...

Siedah Garrett is one gorgeous dame,,,,saw a recent picture of her and she looked like she got stuck in 30, even though she's 50 years old now.

Speaking of Ms.Garrett, I've always admired her wide credentials. But I've always loved her early work in the industry, being part of Rene & Angela's group "Plush"...

^ Ah it makes sense why she got the duet now... sometimes being in a group and getting recognized like that will get you places...

Did you see the way he grabbed her arm? it was like he was sayin "Hold up! Bitch, I see you lookin' further!" "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

I always thought someone else sang this-Colonel Abrams. Well, at least that is what my cousin told me. What happened to Dennis? "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

The credits for each song are not that specific. There are musicians listed for the whole album, and five got credit that included "Bass". Two of the five people listed for bass and other instruments on the album are specifically listed though as arrangers on the track "Don't Look Any Further": Paul M Jackson, Jr and Dennis Lambert (also the album's producer).

What city are they supposed to be singing in front of?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Dude David was fucked up already by that point lol. Dennis survived his addiction but unfortunately for David he couldn't get out of it though he tried.

Probably Los Angeles
I just thought of something. I would've loved to have been in LA and Hollywood in 1982-1985 "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."
