Just when we thought these two had hopped on the road to recovery, this ish goes down. Deets on T.I. and Tiny's arrest last night when you read on....

*UPDATE* Both T.I. and Tiny were released at 4AM.

Despite T.I. producing the #1 movie in the country and Tiny marrying the man of her dreams, the two have found themselves in trouble....again. Last night while riding in the streets of L.A. in the Maybach, the newlyweds were pulled over by cops. And, of course, the cops smelled weed.

According to TMZ, the two were arrested for possion of a controlled substance on the spot, and are being held in custody on a $10,000 bond.

T.I. still hasn't learned to have a runner for his illegal ish, and Tiny is still about to ride or die for her man. I see things haven't changed since TIP's jail sentence. And by the way, he's on probation still. And has been on the road to recovery for over a year. Now all that has been tossed to sh*t.

For anyone else without a prior record, this charge wouldn't have been relatively horrendous. But when you already get off easier than you could have for a previous charge, and the Feds are studying your every move, this ish is going to get very real....

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... T.I. and his wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle were arrested because cops claim they found what appeared to be ecstasy in their car.

We broke the story ... T.I. and "Tiny" were arrested on the Sunset Strip last night after making an illegal U-turn. Cops say they smelled marijuana, conducted a search and found a controlled substance.

We're now told that the substance was allegedly ecstasy. And, our law enforcement sources call it a "small amount."

The pills are being tested.

I know here in NYC they don't arrest people for personal amounts of weed... shit i was with my friend and the cop asked if he had anything on him, he said yes a bag of weed, the cop foumd the weed and put it back in my friend's pocket

They could get a DUI, yes, but a $10,000 bond? I say it has to have been a lot of it---or it was extacy, as I just found out

yeah in CA is really is not a big thing unless you're driving or you have a lot.

T.I. -- Rapper Might Get AXE'd Over Arrest

T.I.'s ecstasy arrest has caused a serious stink with some of his sponsors -- in fact, TMZ has learned the people behind AXE body spray are considering kicking the rapper to the curb.



A rep for AXE tells TMZ they're "troubled by [T.I.'s] arrest" and have been forced into "reviewing our promotional activities" with the rapper. Translation -- it doesn't look good for T.I.

T.I. -- real name Clifford Harris -- locked down a deal with AXE earlier this year after promising the company that he was "working to become a more positive role model."

So far, T.I. is still featured on the company's website (pictured above) ... but it smells like that could change at any moment.
