Guitar God Jeff Beck continues his 2010 world tour with 2 dates in Israel on October 4th and 5th.

Touring in support of his most recent album EMOTION & COMMOTION (his first studio album in 7 years), the British guitar legend will be accompanied by his stellar touring band of: Narada Michael Walden on drums;

bass guitarist/vocalist Rhonda Smith (ex Prince band member for 10 years); and keyboardist Jason Rebello (whom has played with Beck for the last 5 years).

The resurgence of Beck started in earnest in 2009 with his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (as a solo act), his platinum-selling dvd PERFROMING THIS WEEK. LIVE AT RONNIE SCOTT'S (his first ever dvd) and a headling set at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary Concert in NY.

He performed at the Grammys ceremony in January in LA accompanied by Walden and Smith on a tribute to the late Les Paul with guest vocalist Imelda May. He also won a Grammy that night.

He did six tour dates with Eric Clapton on the TOGETHER - APART TOUR in February. Dates were played in London, NY and Canada. In March he embarked on his worldwide trek called EMOTION & COMMOTION WORLD TOUR. The tour started in Korea and continued on to Hong Kong, and the Australia and on to Japan and the USA. While in the USA, Beck and his band appeared on American Idol (with guest vocalist Joss Stone).

Later in the second wave of US dates, Beck headlined a tribute to guitar great Les Paul at the irdium Club in NY for 2 nights. The shows were filmed for a PBS TV special and dvd release later in the year.

Beck, Walden, Rebello and Ms. Smith then appeared at Bonnaroo and Crossroads Guitar Festival before heading to Europe for dates in Italy, Germany and Russia.

He will be joined on several dates in his native country of Great Britain by opening act Trombone Shorty and his band Orleans Ave.

Beck's year long sojourn will apparently conclude in South America in late November.
