For those of you that heard the "Itty Bitty Piggy" (Nicki Minaj diss) what do you think of Keys going at her like that? I kinda felt bad. When Nicki responded to it, she seemed sad and confused.

I didn't feel bad, I was glad it happened. Keys went in on her. It's definatly not the hardest diss ever, but I agreed with what she was saying in it.

I thought it was hilarious when Krim ran out and got Keys for a club appearance. A woman who's a "veteran" in the hip-hop community had to run out to get a 'youtube sensation' to fight her battles.

Since the diss, Keys has pretty much tried to go the same route Nicki has taken.

I think it's too early to say Keys doesn't have the talent Nicki does; at this point Nicki has an entire production crew at her disposal which should be taken into account. I am not gonna pretend Keys is the greatest female MC to grab a mic, but with the resources that Nicki has, who's to say she couldn't do better (better being a subjective term, not necessarily equivalent to commercial success).

As for trying to outdo her, that is essentially what she's doing in trying to battle her. It's sort of par for the course in rap, not a new concept in the least.

And I agree about what the other person said in regards to BET awards. It's a sheer popularity contest. Take any of the older greats (Rakim, KRS-One, etc.), give them a hot song and they'd still lose at the BET awards if pitted against the likes of Soulja Boy, unfortunately.

You can't be serious. Okay for one, ONE award show nomination doesn't mean anything. One award show has Lil Kim nominated and she doesn't win. "ONE". You think Lil Kim has never won an award before? She's won more awards through out her career than Nicki Minaj has so far. So yeah, THAT is a weak argument.

But if you're so hung up on that, let's continue to go further. Let's look at album sales. Lil Kim has went platinum multipule times. She's sold millions of records to date. Has Nicki Minaj even sold 1? She doesn't even have an album out. Lil Kim could never release an album again while Nicki creates albums for years to come, Nicki will never sell as many records as Lil Kim has.

Let's also not forget that Nicki has completely bit Kim. So this stuff you're saying about Nicki, F that noise.
