Guns n`Roses live review Question Anyone seen Guns n´Roses (Axl Rose and his combo) live this year? Was it or is it worth watching?

Hell yes.
Seen the new line-up three times (and I'm going to again in October). Each time I've seen an exciting, spectacular (and slightly silly) rock extravaganza. Plus,, although thy do play a lot of the old favourites, I sense that Axl is at least trying to do something new whilst keeping the spirit of what made the old line up great (even if most of the players aren't there, sadly).
I'm sure lots of orgers will chip in with their thoughts on why Axl is a douche. Some of that may be true , but nobody does a rockshow like him nowadays. It's been too long since you've had your ass kicked properly:

I saw them three times in 2006 and they were amazing. Axl is the best singer I have ever heard live, he just blows me away every time I see him. I was also lucky enough to see GNR three times from 1988 -1992. The first time I saw them was when they opened for Aerosmith. Great show, I remember Slash playing Happy Birthday for Joe Perry. I sure hope they tour the states soon, I want to hear what the new guitar player sounds like. Until then, I will have to settle for seeing Slash this Sunday at the Warfield in San Francisco. I got to get my GNR fix somehow.

Thanks a lot for your reviews. Maybe I´m going to attend the show in Vienna in September.

I'm mad as hell. I'm going to be out of the UK for all of October and that's when all the shows are.
I would DEFINITELY have gone. I hope they announce more for November. |

I've heard they sometimes have problems playing in sync.
