Well,you gotta look at the person who is really behind this project: Clive Davis Clive rejuvenated the careers of Barry Manilow and Rod Stewart by having them record covers albums.It was only a matter of time before he tried the same thing with Carlos,lol.

For me,the highlights are "While My Guitar Gently Weeps","Riders On The Storm","Smoke On The Water" and "Dance The Night Away".My favorite Def Leppard song is "Photograph" but Carlos' remake is disappointing as is the remake of "Bang A Gong".The second half of the album is much stronger than the first part.Overall,it's a decent album and Carlos' playing is always a delight, but in a week or so,I'll probably be tired of it.Covers albums don't hold my interest for very long and after awhile,I prefer to hear the original versions.

Absolutely! Carlos is one of the best. I've seen him live numerous times and he never fails to bring out my emotions when he's playing. I really don't care who is performing with as long as he's playing his guitar.
