The Four Tops' "Reach Out (I'll Be There)" is the song I remember most from CH. To think, "What's Happening" was based on this movie. I don't remember a portly kid wearing a red beret and suspenders in the movie!

DiamondPearl1 you truly Nailed it here.I Love this Film to death.the ending where Glynn Truman writes the Letter&toss's it in the Casket influenced me so much that I did the same gesture to my Grandfather.nothing like the Houseparty.I enjoyed the Music, the Element&whole Presentation.this was the Black version of "American graffti" but it went a whole step further IMHO.thank you for bringing this one to Light. mistermaxxx

No,but I remember his 'Welcome Back Kotter' co-star John Travolta did an album that same year.It featured the hit single "Let Her In". "I'm gonna let her in,I'm gonna let her in... gonna let her in my life, let her in my li--i--ife"
