a song called "miesha" or something like that? HELP! This is killing me. The melody is stuck in my head but I can't think of the group or true title of the song.
I want to think it's from the 90's or 80's... r&b group... male singer(s), maybe similar to New Edition or some young kids like that....
But the hook was something like "myyy-eee-eee-sha... you were the best I ever had"
Can anyone help??? | |

The vocals were sooooo sloppy on that Iesha song, I'm surprised that it got the airplay that it did. Sorry to say but that little boy didn't have the best control of his notes and voice to be tryina cut up the charts with this single. Catchy...yes, poorly done definitely. Wonder where they are now.
I think this was just one of Michael Biven's attempts to continue to add to his empire. He shoulda just stuck with "the likes" of Boys 2 Men and he'd still be in effect.
Now, not to hijack the thread but a good little boy group that had some pretty cute and "tight" vocals during around that timeframe were "The Boys".

Soon as I read that topic I was like Iesha - glad I wasn't alone in knowing the answer. "I'm not human I'm a dove, I'm ur conscience. I am love"

That was the point of the song. Remember, it was about a little boy experiencing his first crush. The vocals were not supposed to be perfect. Had Michael Bivins wanted perfection, he would have given the song to New Edition to sing. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

The little boy sang some notes off key. It was just sloppy work and I personally dont believe that it was done deliberately for one second. I think he wanted that little group to sound tight. Perhaps he should have found another little boy with more control over his vocals (hate to sound mean with the kids but still). That was just a sloppy song that got a lot of airplay. How would New Edition have sung that song when they had disbanned and were grown men? My point is that the lead singer in the group needed more vocal training, and the track as a whole was sloppy.
