Part of my glorious collection of bands or people who made JUST 2 albums.
Shango who much do you think the net has played in groups such a these getting back together and on the road?

I think it might have to do with various discussions and other conversations online which get some groups motivated to get back together again. I remember reading a Breakwater-topic on Soulful Detroit, some years back, and it got great response from a few people directly involved with Breakwater, including Weldon McDougal and others who worked on projects with Breakwater's founder, the late Kae Williams, Jr. [Edited 8/23/10 12:20pm]

Yeah, i enjoyed Chocolate Milk's whole show on youtube. And filmed in high quality as well ! Breakwater is worth to check imo. I think there are plenty tracks available on youtube. Both their albums were reissued on cd in Japan and some of those copies are still available, although they're officially out of print.

Yeah, and a big salute to their lost brother Kae Williams, Jr. who was such a force behind this group. I never saw them as poor though

That's a good question. I think I'd check the net for buzz (YouTube, Blogs, Forums like this one & more). One of the better thangs bout it being 2010.....bands are often closer to their fanbase in "real time" than ever before. (even if they only had 2 albums 30 years ago).
Nice to see these boys onstage again (even without Kae). Funk Is It's Own Reward
