I think that Mike and Janet actually took more after Joseph than Katherine. They only don´t have his green eyes.
its strange none of his 9 kids inherited his green eyes.

It's not starange if you know genetics(not trying to be rude) If katherine doesn't have genes for light eyes she can't pass it down so none of her kids with joe would have green eyes unless it was a random mutation. But joe passed it down to his kids so any of them have the ability to produe a child with light eyes. if janet had a baby with a guy with green or blue eyes her child could have light eyes. That's why michael said paris could have gotten her light eyes from him because his father has light eyes.
