Oh okay I was about to say
Yeah they would have to. To keep track of when and what was recorded "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

I agree. From what I understand, that's just Kenny. Some would say that Michael may have acted as a child. I didn't see this anywhere. Plus, the film is editted so we don't know the whole story. However, dancers have mentioned how controlling others were to the whole production and that they took advantage of Michael.
I know Karen is pretty anti-Kenny herself, but one her blog posts about Kenny and how he handle the fall that Michael endured during the charity concert in 1999 left another impression of him.

MJ discussing the Jacksons Motown 25 performance. From the Moonwalk book
I choreographed them and rehearsed them for days at our house in Encino, videotaping every rehearsal so we could watch it later.
I'd love to see the rehearsals! Can you imagine how many rehearsal videotapes they have?!

I remember one MJ documentary a few years back when his bodyguard I believe, said one time MJ needed to go to the bathroom, but he said "i have to go tinkle"

LOL I remember that documentary. It was called the childhood of Michael Jackson or something. It was bascially programmed with the same principles of Bashit's documentary. Skewing facts, stories, and editting it all to paint an ugly picture. Michael made a joke to his bodyguard (if that indeed was him) and he took as a mental illness. The same show also talked about how Michael bleached his skin.
Anyway... we were referring to This Is It and how Kenny was speaking a bit harshly to Michael at times.

He kept many videotapes of rehearsals, improvising dance moves, etc. I know there are stacks and stacks of tapes somewhere. The guy filmed everything. I would love to see some of these things leaked as well. I know it's totally invading his privacy, but it's still intriguing. I wonder why he filmed everything. When I saw the Fox special of his home movies, I realize how he loved to document everything.

I know what you're talking about. It had to do with Michael not wanting to wear ear monitors, and Ortega was getting mad at Michael for not cooperating with him. He said MJ needed ear monitors because they were going to be performing in an arena, rather than a stadium and the sound quality is different in that sort of place compared to a stadium.
In fact they say Ortega embarassed Michael in front of the other dancers.
I found this out from a YouTube video, where an MJ fan disclosed details about a meeting he/she had with someone from This Is It production, who didn't want their name to be disclosed. That person told some very interesting details, which were highlighted on a youtube video. [Edited 9/4/10 14:32pm] [Edited 9/4/10 14:33pm]

Tell us more, please? Or have you already posted that video here? If so, sorry I missed it. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

I'll send it to you through a private message. Its probably not a good idea to openly post it here. Too many details. [Edited 9/4/10 14:47pm]

I think with that clip, it wasn't as obvious as the scene of Smooth Criminal where he said "Are we misunderstanding something?" and Travis snapped back at him even before Michael even said anything Michael said "we're sizzling" and Kenny was a bit sarcastic.....
With the J5 part, Michael seemed really professional and saying "I'm trying to adjust to the situation, if there's anything that can be done about the volume" and Kenny seemed irritated by that "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

The 3D footage Michael Jackson intended to be shown in his “This is It” stage show before he died is finally being made available to consumers in an enhanced Blu-ray Disc of the documentary of the same name. Can you post the youtube video here? Or let us know what it's called so we can watch on our own. I only recall scenes from the movie where Kenny was irritating - not Michael. I don't remember a youtube video by a fan.

Damn. Michael is a hot 50 year old! that crotch grab is his best ever. Favorite scene in the movie
By the way, you're right about Kenny. I never noticed that before, but he is addressing Michael like a child... "go get some water" Michael also seems to be avoiding him as Kenny walks on stage.

Michael Jackson Funeral Service- September 3, 2009
Now good old FBI posts on September 3, 2010, one year after Michael's funeral about this:
http://www.fbi.gov/page2/september10/fraud_090310.html
[img:$uid]http://www.fbi.gov/headlines/cemetry_gates.jpg[/img:$uid]
t’s a morbid tale involving phony death certificates, staged funerals with paid actors, and coffins buried with no bodies, but in the end, it’s just a financial fraud scheme like thousands of others we investigate every year.
And in December 2009, FBI released Michael Jackson's files

If it is the clip I think I saw a few weeks ago there are some pretty obvious credibility issues with what is being claimed. But each to their own.
As someone once said "if you listen to confusion long enough it starts to make sense".
There will always be conflicting opinions on This Is It - mostly driven by people's own projections.
Also as far as I am concerned when "unnamed sources" make claims you have to imagine they are either false or created by the writer and not an honest account. If someone is going to say something, then be man enough to put your name to it. "I'm not human I'm a dove, I'm ur conscience. I am love"

Yes but the person can get into major trouble if they violate a confidentiality agreement, if their name is openly disclosed.
All employees of major corporations have to sign contracts before working with them, about obeying company rules.
I mean I can understand why that person would want to keep themselves anonymous. Maybe he's keen on getting the information out to the public.
Why else do you think AEG became so insecure when Joe and Leonard came on to Larry King Live to blast them. Remember how Joe was like- "they didn't want me near my son, because they knew that I would be watching their every move" or something like that Why was AEG watching Larry King Live, if they knew Joe was talking bullshit.
And in no way am I say Joe and Rowe are perfect, but they have a point here.

How is Kenny pissed? When he walks onto the stage he is saying "church, church", basically saying "we have been schooled" and "testify" that what they have just witness is proof of the legend coming back. He is shaking his head in disbelief/awe not admonishing Michael. And as for "get some water", before it Michael is wiping sweat from his face and from behind his sunglasses so Kenny says / suggests "get some water".
It's funny that some people are seeing Kenny as being harsh on Michael. I think Kenny had a hard job here. He had to encourage Michael, help get his confidence back and at the same time still be the task master that would say ok lets do this lets do that. You'll also note that in the movie, there are several times when Kenny is calling Michael "Sir" and also suggesting they just do a lighting run through, or a sound check of a song and Michael is all "no we'll do it from the top" or he'll give a full run through of the song instead - a la Billie Jean.
For me, an example of Michael pushing himself, is in Beat It - with the finale moment. He is talking about how he is going to pull off his jacket, the jacket then bursts into flames and then there was the final leap. He keeps telling Michael Bearden "i was pointing at it". And once Bearden knows what he wants he says ok, you don't have to do it again and Michael (even though obviously out of breath) says no lets go in on the one before the last one and then basically has them all run through the finale again.
There was pressure on Michael no doubt, but it was much his own pressure and perfectionist streak as much as the rest of the crew wanting things to be right. When you watch all the behind the scenes bonus features on the dvd or blu-ray you see how very much involved Michael was right down to the most minute details - you see him in concept meetings, in edit suits, in dance rehearsals etc.
