vainandy, you sure weren't lying

I just put on the remix of 112's Only You featuring Biggie expecting to dance away to it....it sounds much slower than I remembered, it must have been sped up at clubs cause it was too slow otherwise. It sounds like a dance song at a funeral

No, it really was that slow lol I had the same reaction a few years ago; reminded me of VainAndy's testifying too

The original was just kc and the sunshine band "I get lifted" slowed wayy down, and the remix was the same tempo as that with the sample taken out.

oh yeah I forgot about that kc song, I'm pretty sure I've heard it before

now I know why I gave away that 112 CD after 3 years of it collecting dust on my shelf, the whole thing was too slow for me though some songs take me back to memories from then

You know an album has too many ballads when you recall "Only You" as the fast song. doh!

and that was just the remix, no one ever talks about the original only you, which sounds much slower, and similar to montell jordan's I Like

It's "hip-hop soul". No one dances to "hip-hop soul". Duh. lol

Notice I put that in quotations. Apparently that was a subgenre lol

I guess it was, and so was Mary, and we could still dance and groove to her, and feel what she sang, not yawn to her lol

I know she's too slow too at times but the fast stuff makes up for it.
