Dianne Reeves - When You Know I was always a casual Dianne Reeves fan. I knew who she was, and I'd heard bits of her music over the years, but never really delved much into her.
She was on a radio show on BlogTalkRadio this past week, and the host was giving away a copy of her latest CD (the same host that I won a copy of Meshell's last album, Devil's Halo, from), When You Know. I won the CD, and got it this past Saturday.
I must say, I just love it. The track list is quite lovely. The album was produced by George Duke, and he plays on a lot of it.
It'll definitely be in rotation for a while. Anyone else into Dianne, and/or have this album?

I have quite a few of her CD's and I saw her live several times. I also met her once. She's a lovely person, very much into cooking (she told me she thinks she can cook better then she can sing). George Duke is her cousin. She promised me she would try and get George to do a follow up to "A Brazillian love affair", my favorite George Duke album. I've been pestering him to do a follow up for a few years now, every chance I get, but so far unsuccesful (George Duke is the most approachable artist I know. He nearly always comes out after his shows to talk to fans and he also nearly always answers emails you send him through his site within 24 hours).
