August 2010

Taylor Swift’s upcoming album Speak Now, is being offered direct-to-fan with help from the social commerce platform of Web startup Moontoast.

The deal is part of a larger partnership between the social company and Big Machine Records and The Valory Music Co.

In the coming months, Rascal Flatts, Steel Magnolia and Reba will use Moontoast’s Embeddable Store for their releases.

The pre-sale is open now at speaknow13.com/pre-order .

Nashville-based Moontoast has created an easy-to-use, embeddable widget that is powering the presale.

Three versions of the album are available: a digital download ($11.98), the physical CD ($13.98) and a digital-physical combo pack ($21.98).
