Mariah Christmas Album Confirmed For Nov [img:$uid]http://i35.tinypic.com/1tx3si.jpg[/img:$uid]

During a recent press conference in Seoul, South Korea, Island Def Jam executive Matt Voss announced that Mariah’s Christmas album will be released on November 2.
It will reportedly feature six new songs, plus covers and a new mix of her classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
The album’s packaging was shot by famed photographer David LaChapelle.

That's what I was thinking. There was an expanded version of her CD put out that had a couple of remixes on it, of that song, as well as a DVD w/ mixes. She is so UNoriginal at this point. | |

Isn't she having a baby? I guess she still wants to rake the money in while she's home enjoying motherhood. She hasn't done anything exciting for some time now. I think at this point, as far as music goes, she's just keeping up with the game. I'm just tired of seeing her act like any other R&B singer. She used to have her own spark in the 90s. Nothing is distinct anymore.

Yeah, and Jay-Z and Beyonce released statements that they weren't dating when it was obvious that they were about ready to walk down the aisle in holy matrimony. Other than a visit to Brazil lately, Mariah seems to be keeping a low profile. She's dropped out of the Tyler Perry movie, and she was previously seen coming in and out of fertility clinics. In addition, America's Got Talent has a nationwide tour going on this fall with the top 12 finalists, but the tour is being hosted by Jerry Springer and not Mariah's hubby and curent AGT host Nick Cannon. I wonder why?
As for the Christmas album, unless she's putting out new songs or performing songs she didn't do on her first album, I don't know why she needs to do this. She already has a classic Christmas standard on par with Nat King Cole and Judy Garland (who woulda thunk it
