I remember when you first came out over 10 years ago with "It's All About Me." How have you evolved as an artist and a woman since then?

I believe it was 12 years ago in 1998, Valentine's Day to be exact. Well I've evolved in the sense that I now wear a size 7 instead of a 4, and I'm 20 pounds heavier. Otherwise, I'm the same girl. True evolution at its best!

When you look back at the course of your career, what was your most memorable moment and why?

Hmm, when I locked myself into the bathroom for quite some time at the office of a particular company to refrain from spazzing out. I thought I might've gone to jail that night if I didn't count to 10,000.

You always look amazing on the red carpets. What's your secret to looking stylish all the time?

I have no amazing secrets. I eat like a normal person, do my own make-up and hope to get lucky with something that fits.

What's the craziest rumor you've ever heard about yourself?

All of them have been crazy, outrageous and pretty hilarious. That's why they're rumors.

There were also rumors once about you being pregnant? Any truth to that?

Yup, I have 6 children now. Check out the North Shore Animal League flyer for the “family portrait.” [laughs]

That’s funny. Ok so are you currently dating anyone?

Yes, I am. I see her in the mirror every morning. And sometimes she gets on my nerves! Divorce papers as we speak, ugh!

Now that you're 30, is there anything you know now that you wish you had known at 20?

Absolutely not! I believe too much information and knowledge at a young age takes away the fun and spice out of life.

You were the runner-up on Dancing with the Stars last year. Did you feel like you deserved the #1 spot?

Absolutely not! Donny Osmond was the true winner in my book for several reasons. I couldn't have done what he did with the travel schedule he kept.

What did you like best about being on the show?

I enjoyed getting to eat what the heck I wanted and not feel guilty about it! Oh yeah and the glitter and stones and fringe!

You're quite the philanthropist. What type of charity work are you currently involved in?

I am currently involved with The Mya Arts & Tech Foundation (www.tmatf.org), North Shore Animal League America (www.animalleague.org), and Africare (www.Africare.org).

What can we expect to see from you next?

Whatever you happen to stumble upon from me, enjoy it at your leisure.

But you can absolutely expect to see me on the beach sipping a cocktail with my pinky finger out, at a Krispy Kreme going through a drive-through, going into rehab (just kidding!), walking the aisles of a pet supply store or at a Baptist church on a Sunday. Also, I am shooting the video for “Love is the Answer” with Cedric Gervais this month so my fans can look out for that.

Wow that's so awful, going from a size 4 to a 7 And that's the only thing that has changed in 12 years? She hasn't grown as a person? Didn't take on any additional vocal classes? She's irrelevant

I picked up on that too. I felt like she was throwing a bit of shade which is why I found it funny. Would like to actually see the interview. There were only a few real answers amongst the bunch and we haven't heard from Mya in a while. I mean it's not like the interviewer came out and asked Is it true everybody gets a turn? but id be sarcastic too because look at these questions, its like when they interview a model for a mens magazine, its always the same questions. Truth is MYA has been around doing 2 albums overseas she has 2 mix tapes underground and one in stores, shot 3 videos that circulated, built a dance school, was one of the first "good" dancers on Dancing with the stars. And most of the interviewers today are lame, they are bloggers and bloggers to me, are like what snooki is to the acting world and that relevance. Its funny because someone posted MYA is not relevant in music, shit, music is not even relevant anymore in the big picture, or havent we noticed that, and thats not sarcasm thats truth.

If she did screw for tracks, why does everyone else get a pass and she doesn't? There are plenty of people in the entertainment business that do this, so it makes no sense to judge her and ignore what everyone else is doing. Mya is Mya. She's like Amerie. She has a few good songs and some

that are no different from what the typical pop r&b girl is doing today.

I have no hate towards Mya. I wish her well. If the product is weak,

Not being an A-lister doesn't mean you didn't fuck to advance in the game; it means you fucked the wrong people.

I always thought this girl had potential. Maybe not music-wise but at least entertainment-wise. She could actually dance, but didn't take it far enough. I still remmeber that dance segment where she paid tribute to Janet Jackson on MTV Icon. She owned that moment. I always felt like her management team sucked and she was paired with the wrong business people.
