Great voice and beautiful woman but she was given mostly crappy material. I love Nobody, We Can't Be Friends, Same Script, Up & Down and The Definition Of Love but it requires too much work to try to get into one of her boring albums. Good luck and please let me know which songs are standout so I can look them up for myself. lol

Stevie Wonder = EARTH
Prince = WIND
Chaka Khan = FIRE
Sade = WATER

nod

Yeah i'm not into all the remixing of her songs that already stand great

on it's own but at least the remixes give her another audience.

It's funny you mention her. She is actually one of my favorite female artists. Ive loved her since the begining, and I admit to not liking alot of female artists. Her vocals are unique. Ilove the majority of her ballads.

Nice to see her getting some love. She's kinda one of the least talked about artists that I love.

I may have to check her out. She never really caught my ear in the past. But, with the lack of decent music being released over the past few years, it has forced me to go back and catch all the stuff that I missed the first time, like Monica, Joss Stone and Amy Winehouse.

I have thoroughly enjoyed every bit of her music. The Dinah Washington tribute album, Destination Moon, is just wonderful in itself.

Monica & Joss are 2 of the best talent of my generation. I'm glad you went back and checked them out. Amy is great too but very troubled. lol
