FANMAIL!
Came out senior year!
My Life I'm Good at Being Bad Silly Ho Don't Pull Out on Me yet Come on Down If They Knew LOVESICK!!! Automatic
...hot hot hot hot hot!!!!
Of course, honorable mention to CSC. And my all time fave song (What about your friends) is obvz from their debut, which is also a classic.
3D i never listen to much, but I still believe it's a solid, polished pop R&B piece and Damaged, Give it to Me While it's Hot, Good Love, Quickie and Hands Up (plus Girl Talk) are all fantastic. Ditto Over Me. I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

1.Crazysexycool hands down. Not a single bad song in the whole album, the perfect (and obviously best) female R&B group album of the '90s 2.3D:The album wasn't a hit but it's a solid album beginning to end with almost no fillers. It just goes to prove that there is no justice in the pop world 3.Ooh... On The TLC Tip: when I first heard 'Ain't Too Proud To Beg' I thought they sounded as a cross between Salt 'N' Peppa and Janet. The album sounds like a more street-conscious Salt 'N' Peppa. It's a fun album, some of their best singles are here (What About Your Friends) but a lot of songs sound the same and the album has its fair share of fillers 4.Fanmail: I know many people love it and it's a good album but it seriously lacks compared with their other albums. The first half is as good as any TLC album, the second half consists mainly of fillers. Oh and 'Unpretty' was a blatant rehash of 'Waterfalls'. Highlights: No Scrubs, Good At Being Bad, If They Knew, Lovesick, Silly Ho [Edited 8/18/10 16:24pm]

It's a toss up between CrazySexyCool and FANMAIL. I think the former might edge it out, just a tad.
The best (most fun) part of CSC is the toilet paper interlude. LOL "Oh ....I need you......I need you to get me some toilet paper....SO I CAN WIPE MY ASS! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA" Love it.
All those albums were very different. The first focused on Left Eye's rapping more. CSC focused on T'Boz's voice more, where Fanmail tended to focus a bit more on Chili's voice. I love all of those for all those reasons.
So in order: 1: CrazySexyCool 2: (1.5) Fanmail 3: Ooooooooooooh, On The TLC Tip 4: 3D

I can't decide which one of the first 3 is better. I don't care about 3D except for girl talk, though Left Eye (R.I.P.) looks so cute and sweet :*( I thought of her a lot too since Michael passed cause I was crazy about her too though I only cried for a day or two. I reacted immediately to it and cried hard, but it didn't take a year and 2 months to stop.
Anyways I love how I can dance to the first album and make up dance routines to it and experiment and feel inspired to do creative dances in the future in public. I love the messages many of the songs contain too and the insane outfits they wore cause they could and looked so cute, especially left eye and chilli. I discovered the singles during the CrazySexyCool era but vaguely knew What About Your Friends cause my cousin kept playing it while on a family trip
That second album was the very first CD I bought for myself in the mid 90's with my birthday money. I only listened to records and cassettes up until then, though we had a big CD player and my parents had their own CD's, so it holds a special place in my heart. The flow of the album is great though I think when I first heard it all the songs didn't stand out like the singles at all with a few exceptions though now a lot of the non singles sound way better than the ones that were. I only like Waterfalls for the rap, which I still have memorized and used to show off, my friends and I did a Waterfalls dance for a talent show with the most ridiculous steps and then I rapped and had a stupid bandana to go with it lmaooo fun times. And yeah that tissue paper interlude is so hilarious, I made my mom's friend listen to it when no one was around!!!!! WTF was I thinking? I'm glad she didn't tell on me or I would have been grounded or had it taken away. Oh and I love the silver tour outfits. I think that summer in 95, I loved TLC, MJ and Madonna best. Was even left eye for Halloween and so happy when people got it.
Then there is fanmail. I loved the high tech theme and instantly loved the singles. By then I would go clubbing and casually date so I loved throwing the term Scrub around and the melodies were superb. I think Chilli looked and sounded really good in this era. The ballads touched me too, I play I Miss You So Much and Dear Lie regularly still, especially last year when I couldn't listen to certain people but could easily play other people who were singing about the feelings I was experiencing with loss, and Shout is full of drama.
I know I sound like it's all about me, but TLC has been a huge part of my life too I'm realizing, a big part of my teen years, that's why I took the changes a little bit hard and don't keep up to date with them anymore, didn't watch the reality show or anything, though I play the older stuff and recently picked up the greatest hits too. I only heard CrazySexyCool & FanMail. CSC is fantastic and of course the singles are some of the best stuff made in the 90s. FanMail however, I can't make it through now, it's practically the same dated beat in every song now, it aged terribly. Plus I always thought "Unpretty" was hugely overrated.

This is my absolutely favorite female group of all time( & Prince's to). I attended all their tours. The Fan Mail tour being my favorite. Because it showcased all their talent individually. Lisa's death should be mentioned. Because their is no TLC without her. That said all their albums was good.
But CrasySexyCool was the best to me. Because it showcased T-Boz sexy deep singing voice.. No female group had the chemistry this group had together. I will forever be a fan.
Here is a pic 4 U out of my archive.........

I love the first album so much. Left Eye was an incredible rapper and I wish she could have showcased her talent more within the group and solo. One of the best female hip hop albums, CLASSIC! R.I.P.
I hate TLC's other albums because I think T Boz is a horrible singer and poor Chilli was always an after thought.
Did Chilli really sing most of Fanmail? If so I might check it out. If its a T Boz affair then nevermind. Stevie Wonder = EARTH
Prince = WIND Chaka Khan = FIRE Sade = WATER the ELEMENTS of MUSIC

Chilli sang solo on "No Scrubs", "I miss you so much", and "Come on down" with T-boz and Debra Killings in the background vocals.

Okay this is sad as shit. Oprah's like "What do you spend your money on? You all make a lot of money" and TLC is like "Ummm..." then talking about how family LaFace and cute their manager is. It's so obvious they got charmed into a bad contract!!!
