Same with the Fat Boys. One of them died of a heart attack.

Miki had a long addiction to alcoholism and I think, I could be wrong, she dabbled in cocaine too.

Movies Yeah fucking Krush Groove and Disorderlies. Hardly collectors items. Some of you got this Unsung thing all twisted up. Just like Behind the Music you don't have to be strung out on drugs and shit just to be on Unsung. Name me 10 major hits by the Fat Boys. Their run at success was not any longer than Whodini's. Compared to Run DMC and Public Enemy, does anyone think the Fat Boys' success was THAT massive?
They're like what a number of UNSUNG artists are: artists that came close to reaching the "ULTIMATE TOP" but something kept them down and then it spiraled to something else (death, depression, drugs, etc.).

Blah Blah Blah Blah. Dude it's time to get off your soap box about TVone. It's gotten old. I don't know anything about Cathy Hughes personally nor do i desire but the network has been pretty good and a good draw for African American viewers. Unsung draws a lot of viewership on it's on and has a good following on Facebook. Tom Joyner stated on his show that his phone lines blew up after the episode with the BarKays. People are watching and if it doesn't include you i don't think anyone will be crying a river. Go watch Bravo or something and quit whining. Don't laugh at my funk

I dig the shows..........and the fact of the matter is, no one is doing these type of shows.

I joked it should've been on Centric.
I don't like Cathy's motives but I'll still watch Unsung lol

Miki Howard had a relationship with Gerald Levert while they were label mates at Atlantic. I hope they get into it. Don't laugh at my funk

Knowing how their shit's an hour long, they'll probably make it a ten-minute story about her and Gerald.

They did with Love Train but nevertheless i think some of the personal setbacks like losing member William Powell to cancer at the height of their success in the 70's and Walt Williams longlife battle with MS which he just disclosed this year and the death of Eddie's two sons add intrigue to their story. George Clinton may be revered now but he was quite underrated in the mainstream, so were the O'Jays in a sense until '72. I don't think besides from us, people know about George's problems and of course I didn't know Walter Williams had multiple sclerosis. I knew of William Powell's condition and of course Eddie Levert's tragedy with the deaths of his two sons.

Sos, thanks for the pic of Mona Harrison! Anyway, Tammi Terrell and Heatwave are the only 2 I am interested in. The Fat Boys were never teetering on the edge of the big time, from what I gather-they were like a whole neighborhood away.
Teddy is unsung in a way in that he never really got anywhere near crossover success and his accident was tragic. That Mikki Howard ep is gonna put my ass to sleep. "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

Yep! I've been a fan of hers for the longest and it's really hard to find info about Tammi, so i'm really looking forward to this. Hopefully, it gives some new insight about her life and career. "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ

Tracie Spencer-that is almost laughable. Don't hold your breath for Shuggie and don't hold it for the Sylvers, either. I think they should do one on Slave and include Steve with that "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."
