I'm also going to Montclair, NJ on Saturday 21st. woot!

I haven't seen them live since 1989.

I got these tix, but then I was up late one night and playing online, and got floor seats! dancing jig

Now I need to sell the other two.

I love TFF... I have all their albums, including the UK imports.

I even have both Roland's and Curt's solo albums.

I'm seriously jealous. Never had the opportunity to see them live. Love every incarnation of TFF (the two Roland-TFF albums are two of my favorite TFF albums -- listening to the expanded re-issue of Raoul right now). Everybody Loves A Happy Ending was fantastic. I just wish they'd follow it up with more. I'll admit I don't care as much for Curt's solo stuff (Soul on Board, Mayfield and Halfway Pleased). His voice just grates on me. Although I do like Seven of Sundays (nice electronic vibe). Roland's Tomcats Screaming Outside is a must for any TFF fan (great album). I'm one that defends the 90's TFF (Roland), but the Orzabal/Smith chemistry (writing, playing) definitely works. Since I can't see them live anytime soon, I wait patiently for a new album. Anyway, enjoy the concerts!

I just acquired the Graduate album, "Acting My Age". It was the group Roland and Curt were in before Tears for Fears. They did a brief stint in another band, then on to TFF.

It came yesterday, so I haven't listened to it yet. It's mostly to add to my collection. music
