Exactly. I know the labels are focused on sales, but I find it hard to imagine that she calls this artistic freedom... more like marketing to teenagers. Even her tweets on twitter make me cringe. Glitter got a bad rap because of the film, but the sound was like "Finally, the Mariah we love" Now, she's just keeping up with the game. Same happened with Janet. We never got another Velvet Rope, Rhythm Nation, etc. Pop star replaced the artist. Mariah even got her lyrics to be borderline ghetto. Embarassing.

It's odd when they were younger, they brought out inspiring music. Now they get older and release drivel to get 15-year-olds' attention. Both got grown-up fans. They should focus on us rather than the kids, especially Mariah.

I was a fan until 1997 when she turned into a bimbo that cooed into rappers' ears while sitting on their laps.
The tunes were still good, and not yet too repetitive, at that time, but she really lost something, when the self-proclaimed "real" Mariah came out of her shell.
Someone really ought to have tried to shove her back in that shell about 10 years ago. She might still be able to sing. Or show up in public without her backfat and kneefat hanging out of her negligee.

True. Remember, she is Cancer Rising. That influences her Sun Sign a bit at times. She is also on the cusp of Pisces. I know alot of Aries people/family members, and Aries are not crazy. Aries are fun, impulsive, hot-tempered. hard working and loyal.
