I didn't care for I Wanna Sex U Up at all. Mi Amore was meh.

I did like All For Love a lot but that's about it.

Somebody needs to do a Color Me Bad versus All for One thread.

That would be very interesting. lol

I actually thought All For Love was pretty bad. It grated on my nerves. I wasn't a Sex You Up fan either. Out of the three, I thought Mi Amor was the best.

Am I the only one in the world who owns and occasionally still listens to their follow-up to "CMB". "Time and Chance" is a better CD than their debut in my humble opinion and has a nice mixture of great pop songs and nice slow tracks. "Choose" was my absolute jam at the time and I played the hell out of "Close to Heaven" These dudes could sing but they were very much a product of a disposable time where a band had its 3 or 4 moments in the sun and went away quietly. Their third CD was weak, with only a few catchy songs, but I still think CMB was an underrated band.

this album is very underated... Pearl Jam and Nirvana movement killed "boy groups" during that time...

Their debut was mainy boyband pop fodder, but yes their second album was actually quite good. Particually for a boyband album. They actually seemed to approach their second album quite seriously. It had a f*** loads of producers on it, which means not surprisenly, it was a long ass album (and an expensive one I imagine).

Fav songs are the wanna be summer anthem "In the sunshine", co-written by Bootsy Collins with himself, Maceo Parker, Fred Wesley on their respective instruments (Bootsy guested on another track aswell), the poppy "C'est la vie" which harkens back more to their debut, the rather nice "I remember" and of course Jam/Lewis' "Choose", which sounds like Janet or Ralph Tresvant could of recorded it. "Wildflower" is a song thats been done to death, but its ironic that David Foster produced it, as he was in the original band that wrote it decades earlier (Skylark). It's a decent version actually.

I must listen to the album again, as it has dozens of great session names on it, and of course, some overlooked songs aswell. I seem to remember "God is love" having a Lenny Kravitz vibe, so stylistically the album was quite ambitious as boyband albums go.

Their third album seemed very ordinary and felt like most boyband albums, which by that I mean its a bunch of tracks recorded to make an album as opposed to any real cohesive structure like "Time and Chance" tried to have. It was a real step backwards. Still, Narada's "Last to know" is a song I have a soft spot for, but I cant remember much else on it?

I own their 4th album but have yet to hear it LOL. I got their remix around somewhere too, which had a fun remix of their calling card track, "Color me badd".
