wow that is a fantastic setlist. I'd have rather seen Kite instead of In a Little While, and something else from the last album instead of Get On Your Boots, but that aside... wow

Far too much material from the last two releases' for my liking, inevitable I know, which is why I wouldn't go to a u2 concert.

That is a pretty cool setlist compared to some other recent tours, and even the earlier legs of this tour. I'd still like them to work in a few more really old songs. Preferably not just he hits, either. I almost wish they'd do two stops in each city with different setlists. Maybe a big show and a little show. Something. They just have such a vast catalogue of great songs that they don't even play 2/3 of what people would love to hear. Still doesn't make their shows bad, though. Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me is an interesting (odd) addition. And I know it's one of the biggest albums, like, ever! But I'm tired of the Joshua Tree songs.

The Joshua Tree songs will probably always be a part of the setlist. The casual fans expect them and U2 is the type of band that will do what it can to keep all the fans happy - so they mix hits, new, old, and a few more obscure nuggets for the diehard fans. I like the way they mix it up.

But I would also like for them to dig a little deeper in the back catalogue, and keep things surprising. Maybe 1 exclusive song for each city that isn't played elsewhere. They certainly have more than enough tracks to easily pull that off.

I agree with NoVideo, Kite is such a great song... biggrin

and "Staring At The Sun" is 1 of my fave as well, and should have been on this list.

Yeah I like the mix as well. They definitely cater to the fans. I saw them two times the last leg of the tour and they played "Your Blue Room". It didn't really get a warm recognition from the crowd so I doubt they will pull that out again. It is good to see "Hold Me...", but it looks like it will take the place of "Ultraviolet", a song that I love.

i saw them in Hannover the 12th of august but it was the same show as a couple of days earlier, same setlist etc. Although i enjoyed the show, they could have done more to please the people who follow them around the globe. I mean some different setlists..Now the are playing horsens in scandinavia and again the same setlist...confused
