Bid Now: Jar of Elvis' Hair Goes Up For Auction [img:$uid]http://i38.tinypic.com/2nw0et.jpg[/img:$uid]
August 2010
Check out the last minute edition to Heritage Auctions' Ultimate Elvis Memorabilia Auction being held Saturday at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis.
This isn't just a lock or strand of the King's trademark pompadour. This "large quantity" of hair originated in the collection of Elvis' personal barber, Homer Gilleland.
Gilleland gave this hair to his friend Tom Morgan, of the Shelby County Sheriff's Department, who was a close friend of the barber, as well as The King.
The hair is expected to bring in as much as $20K. Bidding has already reached $13K.
This lot includes a notarized Letter of Authenticity, confirmed by Morgan and John Reznikoff, of University Archives, a known and trusted expert in the field.

Priscilla needs to be spanked or something. Allowing folks to sell her ex-husband's personal shit so she can get money to keep up with her habit.

What would anyone do with Elvis' anything? His "Memphis Mafia" has to be pissed off that their friend's shit is being sold for profit. It's sick.

The autopsy tools were pulled from auction, couldn't be proved they were authentic, or if they were; that they weren't used after Elvis.

I thought about that; followed by the thought of what else of Elvis' may be lying around in a jar on someone's shelf.
