well it's also cheaper since she won't have to pay someone to be the model lol We all know how greedy Bey is.

She was also probably the photographer for the shoot too. I could picture her with the camera on a tripod and then running in front of it to pose just before the camera takes the shot, lol!

nod

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

You can tell she has been very inspired by Gaga since her arrival. I love it though. Beyonces improved immensely since 2008.

For real!!!! That's exactly what I was thinking...where the hell are the clothes??

I actually think a few of the pics/poses look good but I was also wondering where the clothes are. This shoot is only focusing on her. Plus, the fake tattoos are really annoying. The one with her bare back is the only pic where it fits.

I really hate the one of her upside down with her legs cocked up in the air. She looks like a dead rag doll.

I think she was going for "high fashion".

FAIL. confused

Yeah, she must be doing "high fashion" from the Tyra Bank ANTM school of high fashion. lol

Although she is a beautiful woman, she is an awful model and when overstyled just looks silly.

EXACTLY.

I look at this and I see nothing more than an ad campaign that acts as a vanity project for Bey.

Where are the clothes?

The signature pieces that make us die to stack our closets for fall?

Only an established line has the ability to do a less is more campaign with the bare minimum of pieces and heavy on visual concept; what she's done here is possibly give us a hankering for undergarments or shoes, but not much else...oh- and is she selling temporary body art tatoos as well? Honestly, it's a great campaign for whoever did hair and make-ip, but otherwise, er...no thanks.

Furthermore, I'm not buying her as a high end ashion model. You can throw all the lights ,hair, and make up on her from Conde Nast to Mondadori, but while she's a very pretty young woman, that face is not editorial....at all.

lol She's about as modelesque as Zoolander. Her face reads 'blank' in every shot.

It seems to me that she's trying to channel some Rihanna-ness (Good Girl Gone Bad-Rated R) in these pix.

Agreed. The only thing I took from this is that they have black leggings with side studs available this fall. Whooo hooooo. Sorry, but Vivienne Westwood it ain't.

I have to admit that some of the poses look like Madonna's latest poses that she did for some magazine.

@Harlepolis.......And BTW Harle, remember my classic thread where I wonder what more Beyonce had to do to get to Madonna's level or better?!?

It seems to me at least that Bey & Gaga are both racing to be THE first female artists to suppass Madonna's level. First it's Gaga with the record-setting 13 nominations for the 2010 VMAs AND now Bey with this obvious Madonna-inspired photo shoot.

Madonna-inspired? No. I do, however, see an uncanny resemblance to something Rhianna would do or already has done.
