Official Word On New Donna Summer Single: "To Paris, With Love" [img:$uid]http://i38.tinypic.com/29bhim9.jpg[/img:$uid]Source: DonnaSummer.comDONNA SUMMER - "To Paris With Love"The single and remixes. On her latest single "To Paris With Love", Donna brings to life the feelings, the passions, the love affair she has for the the City of Lights, the dazzling world capital of romance, culture, fashion and style. Audiences will be taken on a musical journey into the seductive sounds and flavors of that versatile and ever-evolving city, Paris. With this track, Donna has returned to the influences that have helped shape her career, which began in Europe and where she has always felt at home. "I wanted to give my fans something special and exciting for the summer, and I couldn’t think of a better theme than the glamour and allure of Paris," says Donna. "I want people to feel transported, whether they're listening on the dance floors of Ibiza or on their headphones at work. The idea is to let them escape into that magic world." Her voice and lyrics echo the warm hazy feeling that can always be found in her music, so as she sings, "If you're looking for love, then you've got to go to Paris", you'll go right there with her. "To Paris With Love" is co-written by Donna and Bruce Roberts, and is produced by Peter Stengaard. Remixers include: Wictor Mysliwiec and Michal Bojanowic (WAWA), Eddie Amador, Craig Christensen, Jonathan Mendelsohn, DJ DLG and Automatic Panic. [Edited 8/9/10 19:14pm]

When is this coming out? What label?
I like the song title. Sounds promising.

Not sure if this is a lead in for a new album or not, but there has been comments made by Donna about a dance album and a standards album. When? I don't know. The single is now on Itunes. Just bought it this morning. Donna's using her falsetto voice with just a small touch of her full voice waay in the back ground of the song at some point. Again, it's on Itunes now. You may have to type in the song title more so than her name.

I notice the single the entire single is $9.99....but if you buy the songs invididually it is less than $8. Is there anything in that digital booklet? I can't imagine there is....Donna isn't even on the cover. I'm surprsied it isn't on Amazon as well. Looks like Donna has finally gone totally indie, BTW. Driven By The Music sounds like something she created (not sure about Chalkboard Music, though). I haven't bought it yet, but will soon (might wait to see if they put it on Amazon...I know it will be cheaper).

AUG 12] To Paris With Love is on the iTunes now. (All of them I think - even Canada! Is this the first time iTunes Canada has had anything the same time as the US? LOL) There are 8 versions - the original, the original radio edit, 2 Wawa mixes, 2 Craig C mixes and 2 Mendy mixes. (The digital booklet is cute too. :--)

I like it. It's different from the stuff on the last album but still has a very sexy yet classy feel like most of her recent stuff. I'm hoping it's the first single (or the "preview" single, sort of the same way "I'm A Fire" was) for a new album. It looks like a very small operation (Donna finally not on a major label?) and that might be just what she needs. I only bought the radio edit and the full version. I might just buy the songs seperately since I can't imagine the booklet is worth $2. Does it have any Donna photos? [Edited 8/13/10 11:01am]

I clicked on 'buy' for the whole thing. Normally, I buy one at a time. Didn't really mean to by the booklet. There are only 2 pages. No pictures. Just one with Donna as the stamp on a letter.
