Very true. I love Sammy as well. Michael really hit the nail on the head with the lyrics. The Melody is beautiful and I've learned the chords a few years ago...great song to play.

I love the song but I'm mad that things went the way it did that he couldn't even finish the video. But this is probably the best song he did with Robert.

Thanks again. I didn't hear any lipsyching on the victory clips i've seen. I heard rumours that he blew his voice out during the Bad tour, based on his singing in these later dvds and in the This is It movie, those were clearly untrue. I guess what I always suppossed was true, he was just to perfectionistic, no one sings perfect live, that's what makes it live.

Great song indeed.......In million times better than "you are not alone".......
but judging from the Pics I can tell that the video was finished....right? [Edited 8/19/10 12:32pm] MICHAEL JACKSON

I think singing and dancing at the same time is hard to do. MJ had always used dancing as part of his stage persona going back to the J5 days but the focus was more on singing and careful choreography (thanks to the Motown machine). Afterwards, MJ slowly started to use more dancing into his act. By the time of Dangerous, the dancing had become THE act but he was still capable of singing great...and he did. Him lipsynching didn't really undermine what he was doing. Looking back I can see how singing and dancing can be difficult when you put 150% into what you do. He sounded tired during the HIStory tour in particular and he was growing tired of touring at that point in his life.

The DVD version is the HBO version but with more edits. I still haven't seen the full BBC version, just Jam, Billie Jean, and Black Or White "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

It's too bad he hadn't filmed anything since "You Rock My World". I had already been missing MJ before he passed.

They probably have enough footage to make a video, but according to Karen Faye, it ended abruptly and is "unfinished" I'm guessing he probably wanted to do other shots in different settings rather than all of them in an empty restaurant. It's so unfortunate how things didn't pan out. For Invincible, Mike had an idea for a short film for the song Unbreakable, but Sony got in the way. And for this video, other shit got in the way "If you enter this world knowing you are loved and you leave this world knowing the same, then everything that happens in between can be dealt with" - Michael Jackson

^^ I'm glad they finished all the dome project work for O2 after he passed and we got to see it in This Is It.
There was a bittersweet sense of closure being able to see that. "I'm not human I'm a dove, I'm ur conscience. I am love"

One More Chance wasn't a song that grabbed me, and in fact was quite disappointing. It felt like he was treading over old ground with a weak song and vocal delivery that boarded on being a characeture of his style with all the "oh nos" and "why, why why". The song didn't offer anything fresh or exciting and made me wonder why Michael would release it on the No1s album with a strong possibility it wouldn't make it to number 1. Judge dismisses promoters' lawsuit against Jackson
NEW YORK — A federal judge on Thursday dismissed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit by a concert promoter against the late Michael Jackson over a failed reunion concert. U.S. District Judge Harold Baer Jr. granted a motion by lawyers for Jackson's estate to dismiss the case, citing a lack of evidence that the late King of Pop or his family were under a binding agreement to perform at a reunion concert. AllGood Entertainment Inc., a company started in Morristown, N.J., sued Jackson for $40 million on June 10, 2009, roughly two weeks before the singer's death in Los Angeles at age 50. It claimed Jackson and his then-manager broke a contract for a Jackson reunion show. AllGood later filed a creditor's claim with Jackson's estate, claiming the potential value of the lawsuit was at least $300 million. Baer determined that there was a letter of intent between Jackson's then-manager, Frank DiLeo, and AllGood, but never an enforceable contract. He noted that neither Jackson nor any other members of the family who were to be involved in the show ever signed a contract. Attorneys for Jackson's estate and DiLeo contended that if there was a breach in the contract, AllGood broke the agreement first because it did not issue a payment to Jackson before a required deadline. Baer wrote that there was no evidence that AllGood suffered substantial economic damage because of the failed concert. "This case never had any merit and the claim was frivolous from day one," Jackson estate attorney Howard Weitzman said in a statement. "Michael Jackson never agreed to participate in a concert promoted by AllGood as the judge clearly found in his opinion." An after-hours phone message left for AllGood's attorney, Ira Meyerowitz, was not immediately returned. Copyright © 2010 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.

Good News: I just talked with Natina (the rapper from the group Blaque) and she told me that they did a record with Michael Jackson a few years back called "Deeper".
Bad News Mathew Knowles bought the rights to the album, meaning most likely we don't have a chance in hearing it.
UPDATE: She mentioned how Missy dropped the ball when it came to the album. She also mentioned how some studio sessions would only have Blaque, Missy, Bow Wow, Pharrell and Queen Latifah in there, but NO ONE was recording. Saying that they were missing out on money and collaborations [Edited 8/19/10 23:22pm]

yes it is but it is what the pay is for. I know it's all very gruelling and that he'd been at it for many years. I don't hold it against him, stating that he really didn't need to do it. He was just too hard on himself.

Unless someone leaks it....... hint hint
The estate could get their hands on it. If Michael was involved in any way, they could get it. You see what they did with Will.I.Am apparently....
"Fuck yo rights bitch!"
oh could you ask her what year they recorded it and what kind of track it was? This could be a great inclusion to the final editon of "For The Record" [Edited 8/20/10 0:23am] "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. She said that Mathew, Darkchild and Missy brought the rights to the album (entitled Torch), so seeing that Rodney has his hands on the material, it's possible he'll do something with the record. Torch was recorded from 2003-2004. Next time I talk to her, I'll ask her about the background of the record with MJ

So wait wait wait? This "Torch" album was a new MJ album that Rodney produced? What is going on? I'm lost. MJ Fan 1992-Forever

no.
I was having a discussion with Natina (the rapper from the group Blaque), and I was asking her about the show they (the group) were working on and she told me it was some shadiness going on with it and that they're working it out. I asked her about Blaque's 2004 shelved album "Torch". She said that she didn't really care about the album, but the only song she cared about is a record they did with Michael called "Deeper". Mathew Knowles, Darkchild and Missy bought the rights Blaque's album, so most likely we wont see a release. BUT, seeing that Darkchild had worked with MJ in the past, it's likely that he has the song MJ recorded with Blaque.
