MMC (Mickey Mouse Club) The Album

Who remembers when the Mickey Mouse Club came out with their one and only album?

This isn't all the song

Not all of it

Not all of the song

Yeah, I know it LOL. I did a thread on it years ago. Nice to know someone else likes it besides me LOL. The album is obviously comparable to The Party, except the producers on MMC's lone album were alot more obscure, and produced the whole set as opposed to the multiple producers/writers on the Party's albums

Not a great album, but a few of the ballads are surprisenly good (and more impressively well sung).

Fav tracks

"Flava"

"Goodbye doesn't mean I'm gone"

"Hanging on for dear life"

"Let's get together"

"I want your love"

Most surprising is "Real talk", a near legit piece of early 90's streetsoul. I bet you could still pass that song off in some clubs LOL

Your the big Party fan aren't you? I still hear their albums sometimes. "Storm me" is a nice cut nobody knows about.

I like The Party 2. If it wasn't 4 them, we wouldn't have a Justin or a Christina, nor a Britney

Oh wow!!! I was in junior high/high school during this! I had the BIGGEST crush on Ricky Luna. boxed Oh, I liked The Party. I was excited to see DeeDee in a production of Adaddin at Disney's California Adventures some years ago.

Yep! Good memory smile I think they were really ahead of their time, especially since by the end of the 90's teen pop groups of mixed gender (S Club 7, for example) were cranking out hits all over the place.

This the only Mickey Mouse Club I care about.....

I called them the Mickey Mouse Club MKII. Lisa Whelchel (Blair Warner of The Facts Of Life) was THE only breakout star from that era. At least they have a better version of the MMC theme.

The original Mickey Mouse Club. Annette Funicello was already an instant classic BEFORE she went solo as an actress.

A few of them made guest appearances on The Facts Of Life & Different Strokes & other shows since it ended. Two of them I'm sorry to say have passed away. Lisa was the breakout star. But this version is the show that made me want to be in the entertainment Industry.
