It's weird what you come across on gumtree.com. I was looking for some shows in London and came across this guy Daley. Initially, I didn't make a Prince connection until I checked out his myspace page.

He's got a version of Future Baby Mama (FBM). I love it!

The start of the clip kinda gets me excited but I'm afraid this version soon blurs into a far too similar take on the original to keep my interest. Excellent falsetto though.

Daley´s version no longer seems to be on that MySpace page.

But look what I found a few clicks away....a version sung by Perez Gabriel :

He also gives a very unique and heartfelt impression of this famous Roger Troutman song;

Dude doesn´t always get the lyrics right, and yes, he sings a tad off key but hey, in this day and age, I always appreciate younger people being into old school songs.

Look at it this way, at least he´s got good taste....and it takes balls to voluntarily post something like that on the net.

I my sister's cat was very intrigued by the video. He was sitting by the screen watching it. I think he likes this guy.
